    O'Shea or alternative around £8m
    Wijndal
    Engels
    Sanches
    Bogusz
    Kvistgaarden

If you were to offer me that 6.for the trade of MOR and Kyogo going out I'd be more than comfortable. However that's the guts of £30-40m spend in 9 days. It would give Lawwell an aneurism.

If the fees are 25m and 20m we’d still be in profit from them 2 sales alone. Would be great business. We’ll have to wait and see. Gonna be a mental end to the window. I just hope if they go they’re adequately replaced

Wijndal as a loan to buy possibly?

That kinda 6 would be the right strategy for our model..

We wouldn't be replacing like for like but we'd have a much stronger side overall no doubt..

I'm nervous no gonna lie :giggle1:

Me too mate but just gotta wait and see.

Hopefully the media still putting out the 5-6 players rings true. The deal for Bogusz will probably be concluded soon at least.

Going to be a hectic week. Players linked left and right. Big money coming in for others.
Just want to get the right business done now. Don't leave us short and replacing top players with utter duds

On top of us needing a lot of positions strengthened, whoever we do bring in has to kinda hit the ground running. If we lose O'Riley, Kyogo and maybe Hatate - then the margin for error becomes smaller. We need to get our transfer business spot on.

Maybe this is more cope than anything, but I feel like we still can come out of this with a significantly stronger squad than we have, even if we lose O’Riley and Kyogo

Let’s say you get £40m for both Kyogo and O’Riley, you could get..
    • Barco - Loan (in talks with Sevilla on a loan.. why can’t we get this done whilst discussing MOR to Brighton?)
    • O’Shea - £10m
    • Kvistgaarden - £8m
    • Engels - £9m
    • Bogusz - £8m
    • Traore - £5m
    • Total: £40m
You would be bringing in an experienced and quality CB, along with four players who are already very good with huge upsides and ceilings. The depth would be so, so much better… and this would be WITHOUT touching any of our bank balance and excluding player sales like MJ, Oh, etc..

We still need a physical midfielder in the door as well on top of that 6:56:

It's why I'd go for Tesseman. To me he looks the most natural replacement for MOR. Him and Engels would give you a bit of everything. Tesseman has the height and physical profile to sit in front of the defence in Europe.

Sanches would be the third choice out of the 3 CMs linked but classically the most likely as he'd be cheapest.

We could get away with 1 striker of good pedigree to replace Kyogo. Least till January IMO.

Maeda and Bogusz could fill in if idah or the replacement were somehow injured.

If we do actually want £25m for Kyogo though I can't see him going.

If Man City do come in for him he'd need to be let go, canny deprive a guy going to a team who might win the CL.

    If MOR and Kyogo leave.

Bogusz, Engels, Kvistgaarden, LB and CB. Those would be musts.

Would love us to sign Traore as well.

I wasn't saying it was one or the other, of course we all want both. The PO said we had to do good in Europe to crush the Huns and I was saying we just need to do good domestically and that would crush them, irrespective of Europe.

The one positive from O'Riley going (and Kyogo) is that it does show other players that you can progress to the EPL from us.

If you're good enough, you will be picked up even if you're not playing regularly at international level.

No doubt that Kyogo and O'Riley will walk into their national teams now though, annoyingly

Wondering if the 'plenty time, don't panic, you guys are over critical of our well run club' brigade still feeling as comfortable?:39:

There's still time of course, but for me at least - any prior optimism is almost drained right now.
For anyone counting, Brendan has now fired his 7th warning to the board.

I agree with this, we can't be seen to stop players progress especially proper top end teams like City. Many will maybe disagree and probably the ones who talking about hoarding money but he cost us 4.5m and has gave us good service, I'd be happy with 10m and a couple of young players akin to Frimpong. Kyogo has done us proud both on and off the pitch and deserves the chance to show it at the highest level
