I think there’s definitely something in the Kyogo rumours, think he’s our Kyogo replacement. I reckon they are thinking Idah steps up to first choice, this lad shares second choice with Maeda.

Then probably gives us a front three in Europe to play on the break with:

Bogusz and Maeda could rotate throughout and the press/counter pressing would be excellent by those 3.

 

We thought Hatate might be a left back before he arrived because he had to play there at times for his last club. It could be that this guy is a natural attacking mid, who's happened to play up top this season.

 

Controversial but I think MLS Is a bit underrated. Not a great league but it is better than spfl. Some really good players playing over there.

Had a quick look on Leeds forums. A few seem to think we are getting a good one and are disappointed he didn't make it with them. Noticed they seem to think he's best suited as a number 10.

 

I doubt thats the route we'll go down. I think If he is to be a replacement for MOR it's cause he fits a certain profile and has the attributes to play the role. He's still fairly young. Look at Christie for example, kinda started as a 10 or a wide player and these days I'd happily have him as an 8. Even Kyogo playing as a winger for so long when he's so obviously suited to be a striker. .

 

We've been looking for a versatile forward for multiple windows.. Kvistgaarten, Balikwisha, Kamara etc..

This lad is another in a long line of players we've been linked with that fit that profile.. irrespective of Matt going.

 

Yeah think Rodger’s might be reverting back to having inside forwards rather than wingers , might be why there’s a lack of out n out winger links , maybe looking to have more goals from the forward players rather than relying on goals from midfielders , as I said on another page last season our forward players (wingers and strikers) should be scoring more than they did

He seems to be getting only rave reviews from people who watch him regularly but i always find MLS a nightmare to judge a player.

Gauld couldn’t get on the park for Hibs and Morgan wasn’t even close to our level imo but the games I’ve watched over there they have been the standouts. The clips of his goals from distance he will never get the space for playing with us.

Tbf if Gauld or Morgan moved to any team outwith us in Scotland they'd be probably the best player. They've clearly improved as players, it's obvious.

You could also put doubts on the lack of space you'll get here in any player who joins us, who isn't coming from a dominant team.

 

He looks like the best player in the world, sign him up.

 

LAFC are due to play a semi final in around 7 hours. Let's see if he's dropped from the squad.

 

Whenever I see MLS, the space seems massive compared to other leagues and competition. It's a bit weird really, you can see some entertaining stuff but it seems easy to break.

 

Will be absolute class or an absolute dud. Has that sort of feel to it.
