Clubs probably wouldn't loan to them. If they said we need Kyogo for 1 season we'd tell them to * off.

It's funny because I totally get people saying he isn't good enough or high profile enough for City to go for.

But at the same time, with service from the likes of Bernardo Silva and Kevin de Bruyne, he would score an absolute * ton.

It depends, a lot of teams want shot of players for various reasons but clubs won't buy due to wages/fees, so they are willing to loan them out to get them at least partially off the wage bill. And not paying a transfer fee would probably be good for city and their PFR or whatever the FFP is called these days.

Rumour has it he asked to move last week before the city interest apparently and wasn't happy we had rejected bids from MLS.

His shoulder injury is starting to look like a cover story for him missing Hibs.

Moving to that agency set alarms bells ringing for a reason. Can't see him being happy if we knock back City

Thanks for the info. Ofcourse from his pov i can understand going to City. But us selling our 3/4 main players and with the lethargic way we deal in signings could be a major nightmare.

Weird that he'd be unhappy at us knocking bids back from the MLS tbh.

If we can get £20m I'd take that but it's just the timing. We'd need another striker and one with a bit of pedigree.

I’d like to keep him full stop but if this happened weeks ago, I wouldn’t be as concerned.

There’s an emotional attachment to him because of the goals he’s scored but £20m for a 29 year old with a recurring shoulder injury is very good business.

I prefer to have the best possible team on the pitch than cash in the bank but trading Kyogo at this point in his career and reinvesting in a younger replacement and upgrading in other areas could have made a lot of sense IF we had time to execute that plan.

    But we don’t.

It would be catastrophe to sell him and O’Riley in the same window. It will set us back massively.

If he does go, would you take Edouard as his replacement? Might be a loan deal initially.

Daily Mail said that's the sort of fee we would be looking for

People saying he isn’t good enough for City’s bench haven’t watched how Haaland plays for City. It’s literally exactly like Kyogo plays for us, hardly touches the ball all game and then scores with a tap in created by great movement.

He would do well in a team with De Bruyne etc.

Haaland and Kyogo play absolutely nothing alike and couldn't be further apart physically.

Gonna be in that situation, where we have to reject a very good bid and * him off, because we are so * at dealing with transfers.

Had we not been in the * awful situation of only just getting a second striker in last week and has planned ahead, we could accept an offer of 15-20m from a City level club that he would clearly love to go to.

But we * around for two months with the Idah situation, to the stage he will be our only striker and we go from just needing a 3rd choice project backup, to needing that and an equally high level starting striker to partner Idah.

Same goes for CCV if he leaves, need more in before he leaves, let alone if he does.

Same goes for MOR, need a CM in now anyway but more of he leaves too.

How we are so desperately short of quality in the spine of the team is madness.

That's completely on the board here. They've run the club like a * show and have no footballing ambition.

    Parasitical *.

I can't wait to hear about how interest in him "blindsided" us. Just like we were with Jota last season.

Who would've thought that teams would be interested in your best players? Crazy idea!
