Good post, but if we are brutally honest, Rangers gave us the league as much as we took it.
It highlights even more the need to improve and widen the gap that we today have the resources to deliver - but, incredibly, choose not to.

Honestly thought we wouldn't make less of this summer like we did last. But as things stand we've not only made a mess of it, it's worse than last summer!!

Nah, I don't think Rodgers would be too fussed if he was given money to replace kyogo.. I'm not saying he doesn't want/rate him as a player. He's just not Rodgers player

It's definitely not worse than last summer, last summer was * abysmal. Palma and Bernardo the only passable signings despite selling out best player in June/early July. Millions wasted on projects who have been absolutely useless.

What a * state we are in .Brendan will walk soon of that I have no doubt .Then we will be in an even worse state usually try to get to about 12 to 15 of our games a season only been to one this season up to now will see what happens up until the window closes. If it turns out as I think it is going to turn out they will not be getting another penny from me .* useless twats only we can * up from a position of strength

The original poster said if we did better in Europe we could crush the Huns. I said Europe has nothing to do with crushing the Huns, us doing well domestically since 2nd place will be such harder to get into UCL or only the Conference at all is where it will hurt them the most.

Quite a lot of Clubs thus happens to, but we as supporters only concentrate on Celtic, not about others hence it's so visible.

Khun & Idah were good signings last January.

We would still be crushing the huns if we showed ambition to kick on in Europe. That’s really the crux of this. Doing well domestically or in Europe, it doesn’t need to be one or the other.

If we show the ambition to kick on in Europe the SPL takes care of itself.

Last summer was awful in hindsight but this one feels worse. I think most fans were pretty happy with what we knew of the likes of Rocki, Lager, Holm and Palma. Even the likes of Tilio looked like a promising project. Nat Philips and Bernardo felt like sensible loan deals. In time, most of these were proven to be flops, but at least I could see what we were aiming to do.

This summer is just inexplicable given we've known since January what's needed and we simply to refuse to spend what's required just to stand still never mind to actually improve.

Last summer we were aiming to be cheap and nothing else. We didn't improve or try and improve in any position. No signing had experience. At least this summer I'm confident 3 of the signings will instantly do a job for us.

Couple of decent rumours today. Need to be sure O Riley is the only top player leaving though. We need 5/6 players in with what 10 days to go? * help us!

Mmmm. Not sure. Seen plenty other names linked prior to this week and they've all been fruitless.

I just can't see us being that proactive or quick enough to do this. Probably assigned everyone to outgoing first.

Absolutely deflated at the state of of transfer dealings.

See if we let 2/3 of the names rumoured leave and don’t seriously push the boat out and replace with genuine, no ambiguity, first team quality, we can’t let it slide as a support anymore.

I’d have no complaints if Rodgers walked out. Not that he can given his last exit.

A club with our model should have 3/4 for each position ready to go if anyone was to leave at any time but you just know its gonna be a scramble.

Sick of half arsing this trading model. Either be aggressive with it or just stick to the 9 punts at 2m every window. Will find an O’Riley out of it every 4 years no doubt.
