I like Edouard but I feel it would leave us without a striker who could really press the opposition, and that’s what we’ve thrived on so far in our limited games this year.

Edouard is great but I don’t think he’s that guy.

Don't want to lose him but if we did if be happy with this. Get Jota back aswell and the 2 of them would more than soften any blow. * no chance tho :54::56:

This is turning into an unmitigated disaster of a window and one we could all see coming.

The board really have no idea what they are in for if things don’t change drastically in the next 10 days.

If we lost MOR with no adequate replacement and we lost Kyogo and again no like for like replacement. Not only are we staring down the barrel of being bent over 8 time in the champions league but we seriously open the door to a title challenge.

I really hope it doesn’t come to that but as things stand it’s not acceptable to be in this position with the potential for our best players to be poached with no time to replace them.

So we've stood firmly still on last season's squad, which was far too weak to make an impact in the UCL and struggled to take a firm control of the league til the final third of the season.

From that position, we're now staring at 3 majorly key players about to leave the club with less than 2 weeks of the window left.

Even one of them leaving is a massive disaster and blow, let alone two or three.

Yet we are still nowhere near signing anyone else.

The fact the city link for Kyogo is out the blue is a major concern.

Our board would have you believe deals take weeks, months, to sort out - so either they are full of * - or they've known of city interest for weeks now.

    I'm going for the former.

Clubs stalled and stood still, asleep at the * wheel.

Honest to *, get that lot to * out of our club.

Aye but Rangers are a shambles and look worse than last year so that means that we've improved. The fact our board are happy to only ever be a nod ahead of Rangers is negligence

Way its looking our board are doing everything they can to make it a title race rather than us kick on and blow them out the park.

:56::56::56: We are a * shambles of a club. This is the worst window yet, by a distance.

It’s now time to panic I think, hardly a sniff of anything coming in but lots of noise on our best players leaving. Complete and utter shambles as per with this board.

We’ve got a top drawer manager who’s proved once he won’t hang around if he’s unhappy at what’s going on and the board are playing Russian roulette again. They’re so focussed on the circus across the road that they know we can hoard cash whilst neglecting the football club and still just about get away with it as per mainly because the Huns are in such a mess.

Unless we somehow go on a huge spree this last week and a bit and sign more players than we have done in 2 windows combined then it’s been another complete disaster.

As it stands we’re going into another champions league campaign with Taylor our only left back option, Scales our second centre half, losing our best player from last season and potentially having 1 striker within the club. That’s without even touching the lack of depth we have out wide or at centre half. Absolute disgrace but it’s ok cause we’re still better than the Huns.

Posted that in the Kyogo thread by accident.

Mikey Johnston centre forward...you read it here first.

Holy trinity of Ralston Taylor M.Johnston to at least start some of those CL games this year

The last paragraph is * frightening.

If we seriously only have 1 LB at the club by the time this window ends then people need sacked.

It’s the leaving it late that bothers me. It puts us in such a reactionary state and leaves players no time to bed in before they’re being expected to perform.

We have to be more proactive. Realistically we’re going to sell, it’s the reality of where we are. But we could be so much smarter about it.

Selling players is no issue to me it’s part and parcel of where we are in the food chain but to not have the potential MOR replacement in the building just now is gross incompetence and leaves us a week to get a starting midfielder in and then 3 ish weeks to get him prepared for champions league games

You can't talk about selling players as 'part of the food chain' while ignoring where we are in the food chain when it comes to buying players.

Funny how we often go into windows just needing some tweaks here and there and then as we reach the end its * panic stations and trying to fill massive gaps.

Just once it would be good for it to be nice and simple :56:
