The league is terrible and we should be winning it even if O'Reilly, Hatate and Kyogo etc all go and aren't replaced. Europe would be a bloodbath though.

True we won the league that year, but

Christie wasn’t a massive loss like Eddy and Ajer was.

saying that we replaced Eddy on the 16th July with Kyogo then brought in Big Jackie later on in the window.

Ajer, his replacement was Starfelt and he was singed 21st July.

It’s now the 21st August and we could be losing three of our best players.

There has been absolutely no reason for the club not to strengthen in the areas we need it most but it looks like they are sleepwalking into one of the worst windows in recent years.

I honestly wish I had your optimism but unfortunately I don’t at this point.

 

City is the only EPL team i could see Kyogo working in (maybe Tottenham under Ange) as his movement is lethal and doesn’t have to rely on pace or power like most other strikers.

Let’s be honest he doesn’t really work in Rodgers’ system so I’m more worried by the lack of time to find a replacement rather than anything else.

I wouldn’t trust the decision makers at this club as far as I could throw them.

They continue to disappoint and anger me in ways I didn’t think were possible.

Even in the friendlies he was night and day to the frustrated figure he was cutting last season, he 100% looks like he's adptated to playing in Rodgers team now, his all round play was fantastic the first couple of league games the only thing he was missing is goals, but we know he can score it'll come.

 

Can see this happening tbh. They would pay a large upfront fee and kyogo would easily double his wages and win medals. Japan team call up as well 100%

An injury to Kyogo or any striker in the past has never been reason to drop a massive wedge. Club knew Kyogo is fair game. I’d say this is happening and our window is turning into a disaster.
