Don’t think hatate is fit enough for the premier league after watching that. Both midfields never stop running and pressing which hatate doesn’t necessarily do and usually after 60 mins seems to go a bit quiet in our games. Think he’ll flop when he goes down there eventually

 

The club should have replacements already lined up. Criminal if they don't.

 

There should be no chance that we let Hatate leave this season with OReilly leaving soon. We will already be worse off this season than last and can't allow our two best attacking midfielders to leave at the same time.

No issue if he wants to leave next season and we should be lining up replacement options already. But we don't do that kind of thing!

 

Think he would need to be in the right team. Don’t think Leicester would be a good fit for him.

 

It's all about the exposure of playing in the Premier League. Playing top teams every week !!
Any decent agent would include a relegation clause in his contract.

 

I think, for his sake, he needs to stay another year.

Leicester would be a nightmare of a move, it looks like they're likely to get a points deduction and even without that I think they'll go straight down.

I think he'd do far better to stay another year, show a bit more consistency then move. Either way I don't think we'll sell him with O'Riley leaving.

 

Hatate would be more suited to playing abroad I feel. He definitely needs another season here though. One where he can stay fit and showcase his ability, which he undoubtedly has. He will then get a more attractive move then a Leicester team who look nailed on to go down.

 

He's 26 & turns 27 in November. I'm not sure he will want to stay another year. I can see him making a fuss.

If he does not get his move, I could see him taking the cream puff and downing tools. He's not got the mentality of MOR.
Might be better to cash in on him now, while the going is good.

 

There was something like a 1-2 month period last season where folk were saying O'Riley was playing like a guy whose head was turned after we knocked back a bid from Athletico in January.

 

Didn't O'Rikey say it himself in a interview that it knocked him off his game a bit ?

 

I can't remember. But he did have a spell where he was throwing out average performances after we knocked back a bid.
