I think Maeda is a viable 3rd option and I think BR does as well

The huns are as thick as * they are going to play Dundee at ipox.

Meanwhile Dundee will be at Hampden while sevco will play at ipox.

I’d say we’ve found our 3rd striker. Lawwell will be rubbing his hands.

Played brilliantly highly looking forward to the rest of the season players are all playing like a team Brenda's got us all as one again . Some crowd tisat brilliant effort . * the huns in the draw no way they will get the 50% allocation from it happy for them to be pumped out next round with a * ticket gate .

Wee man enjoyed his first game, plenty action so wasn't bored despite him being a bit young at 5. Impressed with the turnout, must have been 90%+.

Have not seen an announced official attendance but certainly looked like it was comfortably over 50,000 which as you say for an early round of 16 League Cup game was a good crowd.

Strange game in how much of a replica of last weekends game against Hibernian it was. Overall a good performance and very comfortable win with a quite brilliant at times first half performance albeit with the goals tally not really quite reflecting how good we were.

I'm not entirely convinced with Maeda as a striker, and I am not sure Brendan sees it that way either. The board may well do so as a way of saving money. We have seen countless games in the past where Maeda has ballooned sitters over the bar or had clean air swipe misses right in front of goal, scoring a couple of goals against poor Hibs defenders does not erase that either.

We need quality and experience for the Champions League, and with continuing questions marks over Kyogo's shoulder, then I would not be against another proven striker being brought in as cover.

A third choice striker shouldn't be a priority this window.

Maybe January. 5 players needed in under 2 weeks and that shouldn't be one of them.

    CB LB CMx2, winger.
