I honestly haven't seen enough of him to decide whether he has any future with us. He was pretty highly rated when he arrived with us but hasn't really had much of a shot to be honest. Hopefully has another good season this year and we'll see what's what.

I would have been absolutely fine with him going on loan had we not the restrictions on loaning players out. We now have 4 out on loan(Tilio, Bernabei, Kenny and Kwon) and we only have 2 remaining loan positions left.

With so much deadwood, we must surely be seeing some permanent movement on players like Lagerbielke, Johnston, Shaw, Montgomery, Kobayashi and Yang.

 

If he does well, Hibs will pay a few hundred thousand. They’ve just had a £500k bid turned down for McCowan from Dundee.

 

A year at hibs should give him chance to play under a few managers

No chance of getting rid of the other 2. Kobiyashi has shown about as much desire for a move as he does for a tackle. Wouldn't be suprised if he just sat out his contract.

 

Think he will do well.. it's in our interest hibs finish top 6 if we were to find ourselves in title race at that stage

I wouldn’t be surprised if we paid Shaw off and Montgomery won’t count I don’t think would count as he just turned 22 at the end of July, so would probably still count under home grown 21 rule this season.

 

Not quite sure how the u21 rule works but if he’s over 21 before he transfers, you’d think he’d count as an additional loan, no?

 

Honestly other than Yang the rest can leave permanently

 

I want all of them to leave permanently but it’s finding the clubs to buy them.

Lecce couldn’t afford to pay 100% of Lagerbielke wages in January. That’s a Serie A side. There were rumours that St Mirren were only paying 50% of Kwons, too.

 

I am the same not sure, I did wonder if it was like qualifying for under age internationals where there is a cut off point. Like yourself I am not 100% sure.
