No he hasn't. He's been a relatively solid stand in at left back a couple of times but let's not pretend he's fulfilled that role anywhere near what Taylor has.

I like Ralston, he's a good player, never a left back though.

 

It's not his fault. He should not be out first choice lb. It's a * joke.

 

Showed his limitations today, the problem is the opposition know he is one of our weaknesses and quality teams will always exploit his limited abilities.

 

I don't think anyone is really saying he's what we need though! He's just kinda ok. We really do need better man.

 

My mate who is a genuine neutral (Dumbarton fan) said almost right away that every team targets the left side and we look so weak there.

He was clearly tiring today imo. I’ve already said I think he needs replaced. It’s fairly clear that ain’t happening but ffs get the guy someone who can at least come off the bench when he’s * to shore things up a bit. All their joy was mostly coming down his side. One instance in particular,I’m sure it was when they hit the bar, when one long ball bypassed GT and took out Scales, and CCV had to come across and try and bail out the two if them. In that moment it summed up our left side of defence. VULNERABLE to say the least.

 

You honestly don't get the irony.

Weird reaction to his performance today. I thought he was good, he was definitely not bad.

He had Martin Boyle in his pocket the whole game. So much for the opposition targeting our left side.
