Greg Taylor

He's a decent player but he's the one opposition always target feel we need a bit of height and power back there

 

He literally played a ball up the line to noone at times. Like a * Hibs player.

If that is an acceptable performance for some then we're in worse shape than I thought.

 

I do think he's a weak link due to his obvious shortcomings like pace and height but he is a good footballer. Fine for spl but he'll * us in Europe.

 

Ralston could do his job at LB.

Nah I don't really agree there. Think that's incredibly harsh. Btw I'm not a Taylor fan as I know we need much better.

 

Ralston isn't good enough either yet he's never let us down.

Ironically GT could be a Ralston type of he wasn't forced to be our LB year upon year.

 

I'd honestly say Taylor is marginally better but that's kinda it. Both aren't quite good enough that's all. Ralston is a kinda bog standard full back,hard as * and occasionally plays a good cross or pass, Greg similar but just is a bit more intelligent on the ball, better touch I'd say which helps.

 

No he couldn't, let's be real here.

 

Taylor is good for domestic he’s not the guy for Europe, but what I will say for him since coming to us is that he has developed, he’s got better. His attitude and work rate is brilliant a thoroughly good professional. He has been let down by the club for not providing competition for the LB position, similar to what we seen with KT albeit KT was miles better as a player.

 

He already has.

He's also a far better RB. Taylor needs to be removed for his own sake.

 

Taylor had a decent game.

Ralston has orders of magnitude more assists than Taylor, and he hardly * plays.

Nah. The way Taylor inverts when McGregor is being man marked ensures that we're still able to progress the ball well and maintain rhythm to our play. Ralston filling that role would be like having another Scales in the team.

 

Decent today to be fair, solid without being spectacular

 

Everyone targets him and it rarely works. Hibs didn't create a shot on goal targeting him and the Huns have gotten very little joy the past bunch of games targeting him. If anything, it's been an advantage to us that a big part of their strategy has been playing hopeful long balls in Taylor's direction because often it's allowed us to easily regain possession.

Just because sides are targeting him doesn't mean it's effective.

 

Seems some people are happy with mediocrity.

I suppose that's what happens after 6 years of forgetting the guy he replaced.
