Kvistgaarden scored for Brondby today to make it 2 goals and 1 assist in 4 matches for them so far this season.

Suzuki with another good performance also.

There's a giant Uruguayan striker playing for Madrid's B team, Alvaro Rodriguez, 20 can also play out in the left as well so gives that bit of versatility, has a few appearances for the first team as well so clearly has talent

Totally not just suggesting because he's a machine for me in my FM save....

I probably wouldn’t put much stock in it, but over the weekend there was a poster on KDS claiming we’re interested in Busanello.

I need to be honest, I dont know a lot about him, just heard he is a good left back, but Nanasi is a real talent. The scandanavian leagues are full of talent.

edit: goal and an assist tonight in their qualifier

Kvistgaarden scored last night again, I doubt we would pay what they are looking for but they could be heading out of Europe as 3-2 down going to Legia next week.

I think he would be a good signing as a versatile option that can play across the front 3.

An option to replace O’Riley would be Pavel Sulc at Viktoria Plzen. Very good goal and assist numbers last season and they have a good run in the conference league.

The Czech league is one we should follow closely they produce a lot of good players and also see a lot of African players land in Europe in that league or step up from lesser European leagues.

I'd be going for the Armenian attacking mid from Krasnodar to replace MOR.

Eduard Spertsyan. We were linked before.

Kvistgaarden is exactly who we should be after. Can play all across the front three and seems good enough to stake a claim to be a regular starter.

Kyogo, Idah and Kvistgaarden would be immense strength in depth. And sign the Irish boy who can join up with us next season.

90 games, 30 goals and 17 assists for the first team. That’s good going. Especially as he’s only just turned 22. We also create far more chances.

I’d love it if we could move on both Johnston and Yang permanently for £4m and bring him in for £7m. He can play up front, on the wings, in behind the striker. Total utility player.

    LW- Maeda, Palma, Toure
    RW- Kuhn, Forrest, Kvistgaarden
    ST- Kyogo, Idah, *Kvistgaarden*

Personally not for me I don't think the Danish league is some superior hunting ground and a guy with 22 goals in 90 games like 1 in 4 for a good team for that league I just don't see it

It’s 30 goals in 90 games. With 17 assists. 47 goal involvement in 90 games? At 22 years old and with his flexibility of being able to play anywhere across the front 3?

Personally, I think we would be crazy not to sign him if he’s available for anywhere between £4m-£7m

List of players who were out on loan last season from the Premier League that we might be able to pick up on loan to buy deals, as it seems that's where Rodgers is prioritising his business.

    Sepp Van Den Berg(Liverpool)

22 year old centre back who spent last season on loan at Mainz, in Germany but has made a boat load of appearances on loan at 3 different teams at a very good level. Was signed by Liverpool as a 17 year old from PEC Zwolle after a breakthrough year in the Eredivisie. He spent a couple of years in their youth academy before getting an 18 month loan move to Preston, in the Championship, where we went on to make 73 appearances for them. He then moved to Schalke on loan, in 2022, where he failed to make as much of an impact as he would have wanted, playing only 9 times before he got his move to Mainz. Played well over there last season and at only 22, is only going to get better. Valued at £12m on transfermarket and PSV seem to be sniffing about him but may be something we could do. Only has 2 years left on his deal and Liverpool seem keen to cash in.

    Fabio Carvalho(Liverpool)

Going to be honest, not sure if this one is fantasy stuff as I have seen he's been performing well for Liverpool in pre-season and Slot seems to like him but thought I would put him in here anyway. 22 years old, seemed to have the world at his feet when he signed for Liverpool as an 18 year old from Fulham after a great year in the Championship, where he played 38 games, scored 11 goals and provided 9 assists. He moved to Liverpool in the summer of 2022 and played 21 times for Liverpool that season scoring 3 goals, before being loaned out to RB Leipzig in Germany in the summer of 2023. That didn't go to plan for him, he failed to really make the move work and he was sent back to Liverpool. Ended up out on loan again in January 2024, to Hull, in the Championship and he had a really good 6 month spell there, finishing the season well with 20 appearances, 9 goals and 2 assists. Predominantly plays as an attacking midfielder but he can also play off both wings. Seems to be far better centrally, where he becomes far more involved in the game. Still has over 3 years left on his contract to run and is valued high, over £14m. Again, I'm sure I have seen that Slot wants to use him this year so not sure where he stands but might be something we can look at next season if he doesn't really make the grade for Liverpool.

    Hannibal Mejbri(Manchester United)

One we have been linked with already(not sure if it was the SMSM doing their usual when he was linked heavily with the ugly mob across the road) but he still needs to find a home after some underwhelming performances while out on loan. Went out on loan to Birmingham in the summer of 2022 and performed ok, while in the Championship. Playing over 40 times for them, scoring 1 goal and registering 7 assists. He went back to Manchester United and spent 6 months playing sporadically, making 10 appearances for them before getting a good loan move to Sevilla, where he just didn't make the grade. Played 6 times, making next to no impact. Seems to have a lot of attitude issues, as has been documented but there is talent there, that there is no doubt. Needs a good manager who has faith to drag it out of him and a captain to dictate to him on the pitch. Maybe that's where Rodgers/McGregor could really improve his game. He has a year left on his deal and is currently valued at £9m on transfermarket but the rumours floating around is that United would be happy with less than half of that value.

    Facundo Pellestri(Manchester United)

One I have spoken about on here a few times now and someone I think we should be all over. Turns 23 at the end of this year and as things stand, he only has a year left on his contract(United do have the option of a further year). Was signed by United as a 19 year old right winger, after impressing in Uruguay for Penarol. He was instantly loaned out to Alaves, in La Liga, where he had an underwhelming start to life in Europe. Playing over 35 games for them but no goals or assists in that time. His 18 month loan spell ended in June 2022 and he remained at United that season as a squad player, making 11 appearances, registeing an assist in that time. Again, he was kept as a squad player for United at the start of last season, where he make a further 14 appearances before getting a loan move to Granada in Spain. That's where he performed well, making 15 appearances at scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists for his team mates. Valued at £10m on transfermarket, but I think Granada has an option to buy built into the deal for £8m. That wasn't exercised as they were relegated from La Liga. Panathanaikos seem to be heavily linked at the minute so this one seems unlikely.

    Leander Dendoncker(Aston Villa)

The oldest player on this list at 29 years old but probably the most established. He has had a very strong career over the last 10 years, making nearly 200 appearances for Wolves and Aston Villa and made over 170 appearances for Anderlecht, before he moved to Napoli last season, on loan. Probably the first time in his career where it hasn't quite worked out for him and he was sent back to Aston Villa in the summer after making only 3 appearances for a Napoli side that completely faltered last season, during a 6 month loan spell. He has two years remaining on his contract with Aston Villa and he will be significantly paid but could there be a deal we make in there somewhere. He's the sort of defensive midfielder we have been crying out for in Europe. Reads the game well, excellent passer of the ball. Would compliment our midfield really well. Pretty sure Rodgers wanted him at Leicester before he made his move to Villa, as well. Likely to get a more lucrative move than us.

    Yerson Mosquera(Wolves)

23 year old, centre back and Colombian International, who spent last season on loan at Villareal. Played 16 time for the Spanish club. Hasn't quite found a home since leaving Nacional in his homeland to move to Wolves. Had 3 loans since his move in 2020, a loan back to Nacional, a loan to the MLS with Cincinatti and his most recent move to Villareal. Only played 80 games so far in his career and will need to find a place to play regular football if he wants to break into the first 11 for Colombia. We've seen players come here, develop that little bit more, play regular football and go onto do very well. Wolves are also under scrutiny for their finances so a deal could definitely be worked out between us. Has 2 years left on his deal, unlikely to be on high wages and unlikely to command a high fee. Valued at £6m on transfermarket, currently.

    Goncalo Guedes(Wolves)

Probably the most unlikely one on the list, if I'm being honest. 27 year old Left Winger who seems to have had a very good career, with lots of good moves but not the ability to stick with one club consistently since he left Valencia. Had a couple of loans last season, first part of the season he was sent out on loan to Benfica, where he made 15 appearances, providing 3 assists. He was sent back to Wolves and immediately loaned back out to Villareal, where he made another 18 appearances, scoring 3 goals and registering a couple of assists as Benfica failed to win the title. His wages will be big, I would think, after Wolves signed him from Valencia for over £30m. However, getting later in the window, it's not like he totally flourished at either of his loans and he may feel a loan here would do him the world of good. Unlikely Wolves would ask for a very large fee, as his wages will be hard to get off the books. Still has 3 years of his contract left to run, unfortunately. Good player, good pedigree and at 27 years old, coming into the best part of his career. Could act as a Sinclair type signing for us.

    Daniel Podence(Wolves)

One we were heavily linked with under Rodgers last season and one we may visit again. Surprised to see that he hasn't made his move to Olympiacos permanent, after a very strong showing for them last season. 47 games, 15 goals and 13 assists. The option to buy was rumoured to be around £8m, so very surprised to see this hasn't went through but one we should be all over. He only has a year left on his contract with Wolves and his £60k a week wages will be a problem but with only a year left on that deal, surely something could be worked out to get him in. Plenty still to offer someone like us. Fast, tricky and direct. Everything you can possibly want in a winger. Would absolutely kill it up here. We can and should be looking at this again.

    Hamed Junior Traore(Bournemouth)

24 year old attacking midfielder, who was out on loan for the second part of last season at Napoli. Never worked out for him in Italy and was sent back to Bournemouth this summer. They spent nearly £25m on him last summer after a decent spell with Sassuolo, in Italy, where he played over 111 times, scoring 18 goals and providing 11 assists. He's another one with a long contract remaining, over 4 years but can't see his wages being ridiculously high, with Bournemouth known to be quite financially prudent in the EPL. One we could maybe work, with a loan to buy deal. Getting Bournemouth a decent transfer fee and paying him a large salary over 4/5 years. With the loan to buy option, means we can have a really good look during the season and decide whether he's worth the fee we agree.

    Armel Bella-Kothcap(Southampton)

22 year old centre back, who spent last season on loan at PSV. Likely, he will be used in the Premier League with Southampton this season as he is comfortably their best centre back. Moved to PSV because he didn't want to play in the Championship but rumours are he still wants to leave. Valued at £12m on transfermarket and one, if available, we sbould be all over. He has already made his international debut for Germany, getting a couple of caps and he only has 2 years left on his deal. Another one who won't be on ridiculous wages. Still young enough to improve but good enough to walk into our centre back pairing. Would partner CCV very well.

    Victor Kristansen(Leicester)

Astonished that Bologna never took up their option to buy him in the summer after he helped them secure Champions League qualification. Probably way out of our budget and will likely be looked at by multiple teams but seems to be strong suggestions that Leicester will keep him in their squad. Rodgers will know him very well, having been the manager who signed him for Leicester. Valued at £15m, off the back of a strong season with Bologna and with 4 years remaining on his contract, it does seem unlikely we would ever be able to afford him. Wages wouldn't be much of an issue, as Leicester signed him when they had very little money to spend, so another who could well be affordable. His transfer value will likely be expensive. Unlikely but you never know.

    Boubakary Soumare(Leicester)

Another one Rodger signed and another who didn't quite have the same effect in the Premier League. Another defensive midfielder on the list and another who played incredibly well before his move to the Premier League. Signed by Rodgers for less than £20m, he was excellent for Lille. Moved to Leicester in 2021 and was sent out on loan to Sevilla last season, where he played 34 times. Only 2 years left on his deal at Leicester and with Sevilla having a very poor season, he might be one we could pick up if Leicester are willing to do a deal. Still only 25 years old, too.

We should be looking at Broja and Chalobah, both barred from Chelsea facilities.

Wages would be an issue and Broja might be a bit expensive but Chalobah wouldn’t. Loans to buy if Chelsea want them to * would be ideal.

Broja one is pure weird. They turned down multiple big bids for him from Fulham so don't know what they're playing at. Would love both here.

Cracking player but I think his team already booted out an 8 figure bid for him so highly unlikely we will pay what is required.

It is a shame as he would be a proper playmaker type of a player and be able to feed Kyogo.

I’d be surprised if they let either of them go for less than £20m each. Chalobah has played about 60 league games for them over the last three seasons. Forest or Fulham or a team like that would give them that sort of fee.
