Definitely not if we're shopping down south, there's not much value for us down there, only reason O'Riley was so cheap is he'd negotiated a release clause.

Let's be honest you could have done

    Schmeichel free
    Sinisalo £1m
    O'shea £7m
    Idah £6m
    Paolo £3.5m
    Balikshwala £5m
    Left back LTB
    Hanibal LTB

£22.5m that would have had an offset of £9m currently with departures since June or offset of £19m from abada left

Wonder if there's a financial hit coming our way or maybe DD is selling up and wants it to look as cosy as can be.

Still wouldn't rule out a Hetate or Kyogo going and not being replaced, or maybe a loan or two (not counting Idah)

What sort of it. Desmond selling up doesn't effect us and he won't sell to anyone outside his circle

If by financial hit you mean the child abuse cases then there probably is going to be a financial settlement. I'm sure the club and legal advisers will know what this is going to be. It certainly won't be anywhere near enough to significantly dent the credit we have in the bank.

And DD leaving won't make a jot of difference whether we have money in the bank or not. His shares will be what he will make off us, he won't be able to take what we have in the bank. I'm sure of that.

Give me left nut for DD to sell to someone interested in football and taking the club forward, unfortunately his son will probably get his shares..

I was under the impression that it was DD's son who was the one most interested in Celtic. Not saying that would change much, but if it ever happened he may get more involved; is that good or bad???

BR already said the 3rd striker can be a youth (said Vata would have been that one, if he stayed).

If we drop points against Hibs that would have nothing to do with the lack of signings. The Buddies will be a harder game but that's not for over a fortnight away.

Don't agree on the slightest. Even at his best we still needed better to progress in Europe. We should be aiming for a full bacjklline of CCV or above quality not levels below.

He was class when he first arrived.. he's a young lad and has played alot of football over the past 2 years... his form dipped like most of our team last season.. he'll be fine, least of our worries

Rodgers has said after idah he wants 1 or 2 more. Think personally he isn't going to say we want 4 or 5 then if we only get 3 leaves us with egg on face. If it was to be only 2 more after idah I still don't think that would be enough for the season ahead especially if you get kwon, Lagerbielke, Johnston, yuki out the door

Manager Brendan Rodgers met the media today ahead of facing Hibs this weekend and seemed confident he will get his man. He also teased more deals on top of that, with Hoops believed to be keen to strengthen at left-back, centre-back, midfield and up front

He said: "I'm hoping by the end of the window that can be done, with some others. But * willing we can get that sorted, along with one or two other players.

Too many "ifs" in that interview for my liking. I want to hear "yes definitely we will strengthen"

The fact we haven’t shipped any centre backs out yet I doubt we have another on the way. Likely going to be a left back and centre mid after Idah.
