So 3 weeks left in transfer window and Celtic are still weaker than we ended last season despite having £100m+ very soon in our bank. l’ve decided lawwell owns various internet news sites and is therefore making loads of cash on clicks as us Tims multiple times a day check to see if we’ve signed anyone, well it makes as much sense as a fitba club hoarding money while being humiliated, regularly in Europe.

 

Add in we are about to lose our best player...some laugh this.

We need 2 quality midfielders now IMO.. have faith that Bernardo and Holm will come good but it's risky relying on them, young lads

I just don't rate him.. I dont think BR rates him that highly either or he would of played far more games. He hardly played under Ange and he bought him

 

8 (I think) with a mix of club grown and association grown which we're currently at if you include Johnston & Welsh. Guess we could replace them with two more such as Anderson and Turley but it's a risk at CL level. Is my vague understanding of the situation.

If the Idah bid is indeed accepted I don't think we'll go for the third striker that BR wants. Given that Daizen has played that roll in the past. We still need a CB, LB, CM and Winger at the very least.

 

To be honest, if we can get rid of Johnston, I’d sooner sign a quality winger who is comfortable on either side than a third choice striker. Maeda is more than capable up top in emergency.

 

Genuinely losing so much interest in football as a whole and this shitshow doesn’t help. Come on at least keep me still interested in Celtic ffs!

We've seen enough of him in Europe to know he isn't good enough if we want to progress beyond the group stages.

If anything he's regressed since Ange left.

 

We’ve seen enough of him in the copa America to know he is good enough.

I actually think he was rushed back after injury last year or just not fully fit, think he picked up his game coming towards the end of the season then obviously having a great copa America I think he’ll be back to his best this season.

 

I don't get this whole 3 weeks to go and we are still weaker crap. It doesn't matter if we are still weaker with 3 weeks to go. What matters is where we are on 31/08/24.

On the 31/08/24 we will all be buzzing with the transfer window so why cry about it just now?

 

What will happen is there will be a big fanfare over the eventual signing if Idah with videos, interviews and disco lights followed by a brief tweet in small print that says by the way we have sold Matt O'Riley.

 

When was the last time we were all buzzing at the end of a window?

And that aside, it absolutely does matter as being weaker as things stand increases the probability that we will drop points due to the lack of depth in key positions.
