* man, what a depressing day, first MOR looks like he’s off, then I read the scousers are taking the * out of us by trying to loan back a previous youth player

 

Gives off weird Jack Hendry vibes. A slightly above average player who Rodgers’ ego potentially thinks he could perform miracles with.

I think he's far better than Hendry ever was tbh, not saying we should go for him but McCowan is a very tidy player, best midfielder outside us and the huns in the SPFL (and I'd honestly take him over their midfield)

 

To say he's the best midfielder in the league outside us and the dirty huns isn't really a ringing endorsement since the huns are honking haha.

 

Surely to * we have young players who csn step up as opposed to a guy for Dundee, who isn't exactly a youngsters too

 

Good player.. would take him, we shouldn't turn our nose up at the best Scottish talent.

 

Our youth system is a shambles which is a real shame. A club our size with the "vision" we have should honestly have a youth team full of players who are on, or at a higher level than mid table spfl teams.

Surely give Daniel Kelly more games? Wouldn’t be against McCowan but we have McGregor, Hatate, Bernardo, Iwata, Holm & Kelly. Can’t see McCowan getting many minutes

Knowing us probably offered him an extra £500 per week while he’s getting offers of £5-10k per week abroad.

At some point we have to put trust into our best youth players and offer something competitive.

Given he's only 18, surely his family should be stepping in and telling the agent to * off unless they are as greedy as the player and agent

 

Agents are a plague in football, just had a check there and his agent is same one as Frimpongs, mostly players in the German league so I imagine he will be pushing a move over there.

It’s a shame but the boy should be able to make up his own mind.
