I think prisons to soft for them. I even think the normal humane death penalty is to soft. Dark damp room. In you get, we'll recover your body in 6 weeks. Long and slow to regret what they did. Cant do that though. Human rights.. which should be removed from you after the folk you killed never got any rights anyway.

Only for the most serious of crimes that are 100% proven. Not proven by jury and a good lawyer, proven by actual video evidence etc that in no way can be disputed. Instead we'll keep them warm, fed and with a PlayStation.

 

They were kids man, torturing them and then killing them makes you no better than them. It makes you a * who wants to torture kids.

As far as we are aware they never murdered again, may have reoffended but that's due to the justice system that fails to rehabilitate.

 

They were kids but I said let them grow up to be 18, adults, then end them.

Would passing a sentence in court to a child that you go to prison then when you're 18 you will receive the death penalty not constitute psychological torture?

 

You can’t let kids grow up knowing they will be executed when they get to 18 mate. That’s just ridiculous.

 

Still less torture than those young kids suffered.

Happens in USA all the time. It’s called death row.
Anyway, I keep changing my mind on death penalty.
Should we have it or not.
If yes then what criteria.
Just depends on the mood I’m in at the time.

 

It doesn’t. Since 2005, under 18s can’t be sentenced to death in the US.

 

I’m against the death penalty,but the sort of people mentioned above should have been/should be in prison with no chance of release.The fact that they are given new identities and rehoused into unsuspecting communities - only to commit more offences - is * deplorable.

I always think back to instances such as the Guildford 4,the judge was on record as saying if he could have handed out death sentences he would have.

 

The Problem with the Death Penalty is that there is no such thing as a perfect Justice System and Cops lie all the time, innocent people have been executed in the US and pretty much everywhere in the world where the Death Penalty has ever existed, and once the State executes an innocent Person it can be argued that the State itself is guilty of murder and so is everyone who was involved in the process from start to finish from the executioner to the jury, judge and lawyers involved, even the Police who investigated the crime.

 

Honestly, if I was in charge of this country I'd be a ruthless dictator, there's too many * in this country ripping the pish.

Also Everyone who purposefully posted misinformation should be arrested, people have started attacking Migrants when it turned out to be a 17 year old British kid born in Cardiff who has severe Mental issues

No that shouldn't be the default position. The default position should be prove it beyond all doubt*.
Sadly the world contains plenty of people who are that evil.

*Having thought about it some more, depending on the circumstances involved/brutality of the murder, being found to be mentally ill shouldn't necessarily rule out the death penalty either tbh.

 

The good news is this seems to be happening at long last.
Sadly folk wilfully posting misleading information has long been a problem but its just accepted/tolerated by many, this needs to change. Social media needs to be held more accountable.

 

I'm diagnosed with that and could never see myself as part of any schizophrenic community, I wouldn't anyway but that's a side issue. I don't suffer voices and my grasp of reality is quite sound therefore I couldn't empathise fully with more severe cases such as acute schizophrenia where people are alot more unstable. Psychosis is scary as * but again, there's nothing brought out of you that doesn't exist within you to begin with by my reckoning. Then again there are different levels to someones grasp on reality and how their perception dictates their behaviour.

 

For Twitter the owner Elon Musk is part of the problem, hopefully he gets some sort of punishment

 

musk is a * *. His main problem* seems to be he doesn't grasp that while free speech is important, and worth defending, free speech isn't and never should be the right to spew whatever intolerant views you want.

*although backing trump and sticking up for the shitestain that is tommy robinson says all you probably need to know about the *. Given the problems the likes of twatter/FB etc are causing in countries I hope the EU and the UK get together and legislate/enforce the existing laws and make these companies moderate the content - utter * - that is shared on their platforms at times. The potential fines are eye watering as they are based on percentages of the companies world wide income.

 

I am quite liking him absolutely nailing Starmer. Dunno how he could be punished really.
