Thing is that ship has also sailed now with FFP rules he could've done that a few years back but would struggle to invest that much at once nowadays. Missed the boat, classic Celtic.

It’s such a shame that this is happening yet again.

So unnecessary, and just an utter waste of huge potential.

Hypothetical, I know, but I’m convinced had we lost the league there would be 3 or 4 in the door already.

There’s precedent to show that this would be the case. Everything is just so reactive.

    100% how I see it.

It is the most bizarre financial confusion I just can't wrap my head around because year on year we'd make more money just being CL cannon fodder then winning 20iar because the money domestically is just * awful.

But the board will only ever go out and spend if * hits the fan the season prior because they want to keep the waiting list for season books at certain number.

For a board that we all claim only care about profits and bottom lines, it is hard for me to articulate how bizarre I find then, that they will only spend to regain something over huns, just about. Rather than spend more to get a far higher seasonal reward of £30mill+ by ensuring we get CL every season.

This week's a write off in terms of incomings, need 2 in next week, 2 in the following week....more likely the fences being paraded than this, but keep the faith and all that eh!!!

Why exactly did we sell Oh when we were nowhere near getting Idah in.

Canny go to Easter Road without any back up striker or left back … if we get any injuries we’re *.

    Absolute negligence.

Because someone was mental enough to offer us the guts of £5m for him.

I’m as peeved as the next guy at our lack of incoming transfers but letting Oh go for that kind of money is not the problem.

Going into the season with one out and out striker is absolutely a problem.

We sold him nearly a month ago and have yet to bring anyone in to replace him.

Maeda can play there and he’s probably a better striker than Oh. And I liked Oh, he tried hard and scored a couple of big goals for us.

I’m with you 100% that not having a striker in to support Kyogo is a massive problem but my point is that Oh is no real loss and we’d have been mental to tell Genk “sounds good, just hold that offer for a few weeks while we look for a replacement”

We rightly snapped their hand off for £4.5m

Now we need to get the finger out pronto and get Idah signed.

We are 100% waiting for MOR money which is worrying. If he goes and we spend some money the board will give it the big un despite making another overall huge profit. If MOR stays that's all you will hear as a sound bite from Celtic about how they broke the bank for their star player. But we will do * all else.
