Yep, think we'd even accept £22mil if there were attractive add-ons.

25m plus a sell on % and that boy on loan from them I'd be quite happy with that.

Irreplaceable for us. But we need to act fast if we want to get bodies in the door ourselves

A Big, Big mistake letting him go. This could be the year where we could do something in Europe with some investment. Back to square one and just pray we get 3 gems at the same time in a window in the future.

We should have kept him and sold im next summer and still make big money. Who gives a flying * about 25 million when only 2 if lucky will get reinvested from it. Like Sutton said. If you want to make a mark in europe, he has to stay.

If we get offered the sort of rumoured amount he will be gone. We aren’t going to get a better player than him directly in but we need to use that money to improve another 2 or 3 positions in the first team as well as his replacement.

So even though our other centre midfielder won’t be as good as O’Riley we will have a better left back, left centre back and winger which makes the team as a whole better.

If O’Riley does go I would be going for Adem Zorgane.

    Would be a massive loss.

Fantastic money being offered if true, but my only issue is replacing him.

It’s been extremely frustrating this summer regarding bringing players in and if we sell Matt now will we bring someone else in on time?

    Or is Bernado his replacement?

I’d rather this news had some truth.

I want him to stay but we can’t and won’t keep him, so we need a Brighton to start putting the pressure on other bidders money wise.

I agree.. don't wanna lose him but if the inevitable is gonna happen we should be compensated appropriately and quickly move on..

We will NOT replace him. This is our problem. If we get a really good player and sell them on, we just look for the cheap option again every single time.

    Tierney £20-25 million
    Jota £25 million
    O'Riley circa £20 million

We don't reinvest. It can only be this court case. Only thing that makes any sense. Or maybe stadium plans, but I would have thought that would be funded via a different revenue stream.
