Really? Leigh Griffiths ended badly, but for a long stretch he was more effective and dominant than Kyogo. Kyogo has moments of brilliance, but he is detrimentally small, goes missing for long stretches far too often, is horrible 1-on-1 with the keeper, actually stands offside, misses far too many easy goals... I could go on. How many times do we hear "Kyogo * sake ya wee *" and the like? I want a better striker. I don't think that is out of line in this case.

Really enjoyed that today. Fast free flowing football and our press off the ball was excellent. Thought Taylor had a really good game alongside MOR, McGregor, Forrest and big CCV strolled through the game. I know Scales scored a good goal he still had some patchy moments in the 2nd half anyway, "top of the league looking down on the rangers" again.

No. I apologize if you think I'm trolling. I live in the US, have emotionally invested myself in Celtic since discovering them back in the Ronnie Deila days, and when I have time to actually watch a game live, I sometimes post here to try to share the experience.

For an opening game of the league that’s best performance I can remember for a while, played with pace and a lot of movement. The one two’s in midfield are sublime, just ripped them apart easily.

Got tired in last 20mins which is to be expected but very good signs in the team, if we can add more quality to the squad and hold onto O’Reilly we are going to have some season.

I agree. They are a joy to watch. Have they ever been so dominant against EPL teams, even in friendlies? I am getting vibes like Brendan Rodgers' first season.

I like the physical side of the game but thought we got booted around the pitch today.. was waiting for a bad one that thankfully never came

That one that twisted Palma's ankle looked well nasty in the replays.

That Depeche Mode when we score!!
Think this is the start of the most exciting season since 2002/03. This time we win the League though. :84::ynwacelti

A good 4-0 win against a team that has given us problems in the past. I thought this might have been a difficult game for us with no Idah to rotate for the striker spot, but Kyogo did very well operating in the spaces and creating opportunities for others around him. I thought Scales and Taylor had really good games, and pleased to see Ralston get on the score sheet, he never lets us down when called upon, even though it must be tough for him, living in the shadow of the excellent Johnson for so long.

Very good performance. Clear we can improve but ghat was good to watch. The only criticism I would have is some of Scales’s passing was very suspect.

To break the European Record tally for most goals in one season which is 196 held by Celtic Lisbon Lions in European Cup winning season the current team need to average 3.63 goals a match.
This includes league, Scottish cup, league cup and league phase of champions league.
Made a good start so far.

Score 4 in each domestic match would give us 184 so only need 12 goals in those 8 matches :84:
