Back to his best in terms of fitness, movement and linking play, only thing missing his usual standard of passing and shooting.

 

Dionande would genuinely be our 6th or 7th choice midfielder. Mental how much they rate him

 

Their standards are different to ours cause the years of dross they watched. A lot of their fans even 25 year old now haven't really watched any good players playing for them.

They've not even seen a Stuart Armstrong or Boyata level player kicking a ball for them in probably about 15 year. I can't think of a single guy whos played for them who would get a game in the English Premier.

 

Think BR was being very diplomatic about reo tbh.

He could have easily said "aye, he had his head turned and acted the *, but he seems to have wised up a bit."

I'm in agreement about his exit though. We simply cannot lose him if we lose MoR.

But I'm confident he's going nowhere. No EPL side would be willing to match our asking, not after last season. It's whether or not a side comes in with a bullshit bid and he spits the dummy. In which case, and I'd be fully supportive of BR in the event, he'll get papped out of the starting line up.

Hopefully though, it's all been sorted, and he now knows that if he wants him move he has to earn it, this season.

 

Morelos probably could have from 2018-2020, he was very good then but picked up red cards for fun, so was a bit of a liability in that respect.

Bassey and Aribo are two others. No great shakes, but good enough for a low EPL side. Maybe Goldson at his peak too. Bassey was a mainstay for Fulham for most of last year I think.

But aye, they've not really had any top quality players for a very long time.

 

Bassey maybe, forgot about him even then i'd say he's a relegation level EPL player.

Never Goldson or Morelos though, Morelos wasn't quick or technical enough to play in the EPL, look at Gary Hooper even Edouard doesn't do that well.

Aribo either not got enough about him. Look at the difference between him and Christie for example played similar positions and Christie probably got 20 goals and assists a season more than him. Armstrong as well and even then Christie and Armstrong are not top players in the EPL they're decent for bottom half teams, Aribo never got a sniff for Southampton in the EPL.

The last proper EPL level players to play for a hun team was Jelavic and Davis I think and they left 12 and 13 year ago. Bassey does play there but has the touch of an elephant and probably won't for much longer.

What they think are top players Goldson, Tavernier, Kamara, Aribo, Kent and Morelos are similar level guys to like Sviatchenko, Taylor, Bitton, Ntcham, Roberts and Griffiths.

Imagine them seeing an Christie, Ajer, Juranovic or Edouard they'd think they were £30million players never mind a Frimpong, Van Dijk, Tierney, O'Riley. They'd think Scott Sinclair was world class.
