CCV’s stats seem a little suspect seen as he was wrestling Vassell the whole time he was on the pitch.

I was actually wondering about Scales stats today, could only remember a couple of passes that didn't meet their man. Id like to have seen him take a shot a few times as it definitely opened up a few times for him at about 25 years but overall he was really good.

I dont disagree with the sentiment that we should look to improve in that position, but to describe him as a brain fart after a strong performance where he didnt do too much wrong is poor for me. The criticism of him is, for me, over the top.
Scales continues to keep £6m+ worth of defenders out of the side.
We have spent a lot more on a lot worse.

He was excellent defensively but his distribution second half was poor and what made it worse was it was the same pass he tried 3 or 4 times that was easily intercepted.

A few slack passes today but other than that thought he was excellent, his goal was superb, classic glancing header angled away from the GK.

He played a few fantastic balls through the lines especially start of the 2nd half and dealt with their physicality very well. A few loose passes as the game went on but he wasn’t the only one.

    Wasn't Ralston's goal a first time hit?

He was sloppy in the second half with his passing, which comes as no surprise. He played pretty well overall though, and the header was beautiful.

    He did really well today.

He is fine for 4th choice CB and gives us different options given he's left footed and can also play LB in a crisis.

Full preseason behind him, a good break for him to reflect/analyse, and lots of games last year with higher expectations / scrutiny will help him loads.

Never seen him happier than the post match interview talking about his goal and almost scoring a 2nd, think he'll make an improvement this season

Can see him being in the starting line up for the foreseeable future, he is being built as a Celtic starter. He's a managers dream CB with his attacking options

He was good today but if he starts our first CL game it's a dereliction of duty from our custodians.

A more than able back up but not anywhere close to what we need going forward.

Be some laugh if he put in another MOTM performance in the first CL game thus season. Bonkers.

This. The lad had a good game overall but against poor opposition. I counted at least 5 through balls he played forward on the deck that were so easily intercepted. Do that in Europe and we’ll be picked off for fun.

The lad is probably as good as he’ll ever be but unfortunately that isn’t good enough for us. An honest pro who gives his all but we need a bit more. A bit like myself according to the good lady.
