Think our game will be built around playing to his strengths this season , he could be on another level goals wise . Exciting year for him and us .
Less coming short more finding his runs early and in behind .

If we go forward as quickly/directly as we have been then he'll have a field day..

Especially if the wingers turn up on both sides.....which definitely didn't happen for lots of last season, particularly that right side..

Brendan Rodgers has firmly slapped a not for sale sign on Celtic striker Kyogo – and insisted the frontman is happy with the Hoops writes Michael Gannon in the USA.

The Japanese ace has been a long-term target for big spending Urawa Red Diamonds in his homeland. But has slammed the door on any suggestions the 29-year-old could be heading back to the Far East – and insisted the frontman has found his mojo again. When asked if Kyogo was not for sale at any price, Rodgers said: “Yes. We’ve (only) got one (striker).

But I have to say, I've seen a different player really over the course of pre-season. He's just been so good, just from day one, he's come back really bright, looks really happy, working very, very hard, making the movements, making the runs, all the things that we'd hope to see from him. You see the happiness at which he's playing, he's scoring goals, he's working very, very hard for the team and definitely something that we wouldn't want to lose.”

Kyogo admitted in an interview in Japan he struggled last term but finished with a flourish. He said: "It was a difficult season. Compared to last year, I didn't score as many goals.

It was a frustrating season, but it didn't end with that kind of frustration. “Changing my position expanded the range of my game, and I was able to experience many different things. I think I grew one more step. Instead of focusing on the bad things, I think positively that I was able to grow and take another step forward

At 29 we have a player in his prime.

Expecting a big season. But he will need help. Need at least one more striker.

We could really do with getting an Édouard type deal . That was perfect him coming in on loan with option to buy when we had dembele.

He has hit the ground running this pre season, he looks sharp and clinical.

We seem to be finding his runs off the shoulder or the last man really well, something we were not doing for a large part of last season, which is on Rodgers for me.

We have the best striker in Scotland and we need to give him the service he needs.

Really is as simple as that.

Could see his frustration last season making the runs and never getting spotted.

Hopefully this season he will smash the 30 goal mark

He loves it here and regards playing for us as an honour. I can't speak for him but i'm certain he will not make a big move away from here. Just got loyalty feelings about him and Meada

Am I right in seeing somewhere that the agency doesn't make any money unless he signs a contract meaning he would either need a new contract here or a move for them to make any money from him?

Really enjoyed that, Kyogo has a mad sense of humour. 7:00 doing the fishing rod cracked me up

Aye it's never a good sign when a player moves agency. O'Riley left that agency last year funnily enough

How privy to the goings on inside the club are the employees at the superstore?.
Coz i took the wee man to get his home top a couple of weeks ago (he wanted kyogo on the back) and the * doing the lettering was not too keen on doing it as he had heard rumours he was off. Im not one for posting * or rumours so never thought anything of it.
