Who gives a * what the huns are doing. Said it before, but if we are comparing ourselves to them it’s a race to the bottom. With the resources we have available, we shouldn’t need to concern ourselves with them. We should be going out to strengthen to try and give ourselves the best possible chance to make strides in Europe, and domestic football will take care of itself if we do that.

Fair enough about Idah.

Don't think we have a thin squad and I certainly don't think we need a rebuild. Just a few additions at specific positions.



We certainly need a CF and a LB. Other than that, the squad is fairly deep. If O'Riley leaves, we could have a use for another CM. If Lager and Yuki leave, we need a CB. People argue we need more players cause they don't trust our current options, not because the squad is thin.

 

After Idah signs, we better be waiting for the likes of O’Shea, Charles, Balikwisha etc.

We need another 4 players of that standard or all the waiting and fannying about in this window hasn’t been worth it.

 

I know, that's what I meant by terminate - pay them off lol.

 

Suppose one conciliation is we won’t need to download the next version of FIFA

 

27 players in that list and I would gladly see the back of at least 7 of them.

Only keeping Bain in there because he essentially knows he’s 3rd choice here. I think Holm needs a loan and I’ve never really been a fan of Palma, even though his numbers are decent.

Yup, pretty bewildering that it's never been addressed. Gotta be a LB and a forward in surely at bare minimum. As much as we need another CB I don't think it'll happen unless we move a couple on from Kobayashi, Lagerbielke, Welsh or Nawrocki.

Uh-huh… Well, if those people are correct about the quality of options available, then the squad is thin. No logical issue at all with claiming that the squad is thin when one doesn’t rate the players available. I’d have thought that obvious.

What does seem illogical is to watch the performances of Lagerbielke and Kobayashi and infer, as you just have, that they’re good enough to suggest our squad has an adequate level of depth.

Honestly. Every post a facepalm moment. I ask again: do you do this deliberately? Is it for the attention of being Mr Alternative, or what?
