I was about to ask about that picture, Thanks for clarifying. The gull really stood out to me, although I find all of these birds really fascinating and stunning as well. Hard to describe better but I think that its great to be able to share hobbies and interests, it creates enjoyment. Credit must go to everyone for enjoying their hobbies and finding a way to channel that so others can enjoy also.

I was only about 6 and I would try to be friends with everyone. But I knew a scumbag who tortured a hedgehog in front of me. Certain things mess with you after all these years, I discovered pure evil and I still can't get my head around it. All i can say is that abuse doesn't stop at the victim, it often creates more abuse and those who are cowardly enough will target harmless creatures.
I think its better to have known pure evil back then, as it comes in many forms nowadays. I'm really careful these days and cautious of trusting people.

On my local patch this morning while talking to a cool lady gardener who i met for the first time, she loves wildlife as we do in here. Anyway while talking to her with Ruby Roo of course i was delighted to spot and great views of a cool Weasel, the cheeky wee carnivore really checked me and Ruby Roo out, what cool animals they are, has made my week.

Also this morning on my local patch i saw a male Sparrowhawk being harassed by a Carrion Crow and a hunting female Kestrel.

Not much happening at my place at the moment other then a lot of bunnies and their little ones around the neighborhood. Even walked out of my garage the other day and there was one sitting right in front of our front door.

Out very early early this morning on my local beach and headland with my partner in crime of course Ruby Roo. She loved running up and down the sand:49:. Anyway i was more than delighted to hear and see a cool Kingfisher flying at the edge of the sae and onto the spit. Also a Grey Wagtail called and flew overhead lowly.

Then more action on the headland with 4 * Chough well seen, a male Stonechat with a Juvenile and the local female Peregrine flew right over us.

On and 3 days ago over my local Woodland a cool Red Kite was well seen passing through.

Here's a wee update on my , what I'm now calling it, Swift Summer. It's been a great Summer as far as Swifts, Housemartins and Swallows are concerned. I said about a fortnight ago that I'd saw many Swallows and Housemartins. They're still here but the Swifts are here in their 100's. Fo0r the last few years, I've hardly saw any but this year has been superb. I can't wait to sit in my garden watching them flying above me, and I love the sound the Swallows and Housemartins ,make when they're flying.

Early this morning i was delighted to come across a cool Hedgehog feeding a long a path. Think it was eating a slug. It was on a housing estate so I gave it some water and made sure it safely went into a garden.

The first hedgehog I have seen in several years. I will start to put out water and dog food in my garden for them in my garden leading up to mid Autumn. I already put peanuts out for the badgers and scraps for the foxes and wood mice.

Of course I was out with my partner in crime Ruby Roo early this morning.

Hi Early this afternoon a bat briefly flew around my garden despite the strong sunshine. It soon retreated back to its roost. They sometimes fly in daylight. Must have been disturbed or may have being trying to let me know he is a Celtic fan:84:
