I wonder if we aren't selling Johnston so he plays as back up striker until someone comes in. It could also because he dropped off towards the end, the first 9 games he got 6 goals and an assist, the second 9 games 1 goal.

Kwon did okay for St Mirren, not enough to sell although I'm surprised a SPL team hasn't come in for a loan.

I'm hoping we some sort of movement for Yuki, Yang, Nawrocki, Lagerbielke, Kwon and Holm soon. Even if some are loan
to buys. Those 6 really show how poor January and Summer last year were.

I understand why we maybe want to hold off on loaning players out, especially as a third of our quota is already taken up with Tilio and Bernabei out on loan, currently.

So, you go through the numbers of players we would all like to move on and it's far more than another 4. Need some of these guys to move on permanently.

I think there is probably at least 6 I would like to see leave and probably at least another 6 I wouldn't really give a * if they left.

Going to start the league weaker than last season.. and there was already concern that we needed major reinforcement fron January onward.

But supposedly we have to "be patient".

Our centre backs are case in point. We have CCV who is great and then Scales who isnt good enough. But then we have Welsh, Rocki, Lager, and Kobayashi which is a crazy situation to be in when we really need to sign a first team centre back. None of them are awful but none seem trusted to be better than scales.

Problem is, it's probably unlikely we will be able to find a better option in our usual 2-3m bracket. So we end up either not signing anyone until we move a player on, or we add like for like to a bloated squad.

Thinking about it more and the board try their best really with what they have to work with.

I mean would be different if we were sitting with record profits, guaranteed 8 champions league games and a record payout, had a top manager who previously left due lack of ambition/investment or even if the board had previously had to say sorry for lack of action in a transfer window.

Our ability to scale back and downsize in the face of record profits and revenues is the best in all of the football... perhaps even in all of global business

As someone who has remained positive and thinks we could still have a good window, this isn't really acceptable. Bernardo should have been in by now and should have been done for us going to USA. I don't think we should have sold Oh until a new striker had arrived either.

The only positive from not signing an outfield player is that we haven't signed loads of *.

Our transfers are in the main done by people with qualifications in Law and finance. They have the final say of what business we do and how we do it.

The football people, scouts, analysts, manager, coaches input is welcomed and will be considered...probably. At the lower end of the dealings.

It's madness. We sacked the top guys in our recruitment/strategy in February and done what to address this? Genuinely what has been done to address this?

Negotiations can take time 100% and that's with the right set up and personel behind it. We don't. Not even close to it. Awful.

We needed 6/7 at the start of the window. Realistically, still need 6. Amd that's not even factoring MOR going.

We're brow beaten due to time and excuses (tough market pish etc), that aye, I'd take 3 or 4 now. That becomes 2, 1st team starters. Okay 1 starter and a loan.

No issues selling folk. Move quickly as do the markets when there's a penny to be made. Let youth walk away like they're ten a penny for little to nothing.

Meanwhile, we've wished Danny Fox, Stuart Kerr and Diego Laxualt a happy birthday.

Reality is, 3 or 4 genuine bits of quality (Not Idah or Bernardo) takes us up a level easy. And what the manager deserves at the very least.

Parochial and tight and amateurish is our transfer incomings.

It’s crazy goalies aside we have had a worse transfer window than a window the board actually apologised for and people actually got sacked for. The board are scum I’ve said it many times we win things in spite of them. The * go all out to keep level with the Huns.

I would rather they just came out and said look we can't spend any cash because of "this reason" at least then you would say aye OK then fair enough and not expect anything. I have said it for a year now we are hoarding cash for a reason it doesn't make sense otherwise

If that's the case would we not be leaving ourselves open to low bids if we announced to the world we are holding onto cash for whatever reason.

We are let off the hook by the circumstances we find ourselves in.

Our spending policy is a disgrace but even if we don't make a single other signing we will still be odds on to win the league. It's hard for fans to get angry and military when they are top of the league so the board get away with it
