I thjnk he'd be very keen to go.

Definitely strikes me as the type to moan if he doesn't get a move. Dunno why.

We can't lose both. We already need to ADD on top of Bernardo coming in. Never mind the thought of losing both.

I know you like Reo mate but for me that is an absolutely mental opinion. MOR has shown in a Celtic strip he’s not only a baller but he’s consistent with it. Hatate has been as bad as he has been good over the time he’s been here. There’s reasons for that but O’Riley, for me, is not only simply better just now but his ceiling is miles above Reo’s.

Aye think for wages on offer both would be keen to go. I dunno, it's just an assumption but I think Oriley comes across really intelligent and is someone who would see the clubs point of view better in terms of letting both go or not letting him go without valuation being met.

Don't trust out recruitment to even get close to replacing both, it's took 6 weeks to do a deal for Bernardo ffs so no chance we can let both go.

Also think we are more likely to get fee we want for Hatate than Oriley

I admittedly am biased with Hatate. When he's on song it's like no one can get near him. The way he turns. The way he moves with the ball. Has that bit of magic to go on a mazy run, or spot passes that others don't see..

O'Riley is younger and im taking nothing away from him. Hes a great player and going far. I just think Hatate when injury free and in the groove is magic..

Can't deny the consistency of O'Riley though whatsoever. Baller also..

He's deffo got his head screwed on. Showed it with all his moves so far. Picked clubs that suited his game and where he knew ged get game time and could keep progressing..

There isn't a chance we'd come out of the window in good shape if we lost both. Which is why it won't/can't happen..

No sure on last bit. Hatate bit older and been hampered by muscle injuries. Whereas O'Riley younger and really in the best form of his career so far with interest and stock high..

Basing that on fact I think we will be looking for £15m or thereabouts for Hatate which is far more in the "take a punt on an spfl player" that epl clubs won't blink twice at.
At the moment the best offer this summer we've had for MOR is £15m which is reportedly half of what we value him at. That's a fair gap to bridge, particularly when his supposed preferred destination keep wasting our time by upping their derisory offered by 1m euro a week. Personally I don't see us getting the £30m we want for him from Atalanta.

May also come down to timing if Leicester come in 2mo and offer us the £15m, Hatate will be away before Atalanta even get round to putting their latest * bid in and by which point Oriley becomes unsellable

why do people think we would accept as little as £15m for one of our best with 4 years to run on his contract

Ffs man. Hopefully we don’t sell him. I’d love to keep him and O’Riley. We definitely can’t sell both. Not a hope.
Also Hatate is a £25m player. Deffo shouldn’t be entertaining much less

Because he wants to go and isn't a youth player with massive sell on potential for his next club. Also the fact he has been injury prone

none of thoes reasons would justify such a low valuation for such a good player

If a player is any good he will want to move up and play at the next level. Such a short career for a player that he can't afford to hang around when the chance to move up comes along.

I'm worried he'll throw a strop if he doesn't get his way, losing him and o'riley both would be difficult.

Unlike MOR who will just go with the flow I think Hatate would want to move and make sure we know.

We can't afford to lose both of them but if we just might.

He’ll want play in the EPL but next season he’ll be playing in the championship.

I think Leicester aren't exactly the club he envisions himself playing in. I'm not worried.

Of course.. it still frustrating though.. even more so as we don't have the structure or vision in place to absorb losing our best players. Ideally they should already be in the building..

If look at the way Brighton do business for example, the lose their best players and managers regularly but are always planning, always recruiting and are prepared for where they need to strengthen..

    We're reactive not proactive.

Hatate has been talking about playing in a “top league” from the moment he got here, he’ll push for the move if it’s on the cards.

£15m would be a fair price, and I think we could upgrade on him in truth and sign someone more balanced and consistent.

If losing Hatate means we keep O’Riley for a year, then that’s fine by me. Losing both? That would be terrible.

He’ll go and I’d be worried if we blocked the move because we were also losing O’Riely. He would be a huffy little * in my opinion. This has the hallmarks of the COVID season, keeping players that are desperate to leave.

Given the absolute lack of ambition from the board, other than to just stay a cats whisker ahead of everyone else domestically, I'd be surprised if every top player in our squad wouldn't consider a transfer to another club.

£22 mill + add on's and he can go. Personally I'd cash in while the value is high and replace him. The issue isn't selling hatate or oriley for the right money it's getting our finger out to replace them. Leicester surely have a young midfielder rodgers would be aware of that could come the other way as part of the deal
