We won't let both go.

Oriley seems much more relaxed about it and think he could be talked into reason, whearas I think hatate mite spit the dummy.

Even without the Hatate story tonight, I thought O'riley wouldn't kick off if we don't get the right offer and at the moment nobody seems willing to match our valuation anyway

 

Of course we'll have contingencies in place if were to lose both, won't we..

 

If we punted both before Bernardo even signed, we would be down an entire midfield without CalMac. I'm not convinced Lawal is ready yet, so we would need to maybe sign an additional 3 midfielders if it happened.

 

Lawal is not even close to ready yet IMHO. He needs to go out for another season loan to another team in our league say like Aberdeen or Hibernian or maybe a team down in the championship.

 

Hatate deffo wants away but there seems to be this view that O'Riley doesn't as much. Don't know about that..

Openly admitted he was struggling after the links to Atletico in January. Openly spoke the season before and named Newcastle and someone else publicly..

Think both would be just as keen as the other but we just won't sell both in the same window. Can't see it whatsoever..

 

Selling both O'Riley and Hatate in the same window would be a massive step backwards. Don't care how much money we get. If the past is any indication, Lawwell will re-invest only a small part of it to the club.

 

Think it probably just unsettled him, probably wasn't expecting a club of A. Madrid's calibre to come in for him so soon..

Can't see us selling both, bur we might.. not sure Rodgers is that keen on Hatate..

The issue is with no recruitment team in place of note, we would struggle to respond in a month.

 

Yeah, I don't trust the recruitment. Last summer, Rodgers spoke of getting the rest of his business in January. Then at the end of that window he asked the club to be braver.

I can't see all this being done in a month. I hope I am wrong.

it has probably been decided to sell both weeks ago with rodgers coming out with the 3 year cycle pish,we dont have enough top players left to sell either oriley or hatate .

 

Aye mate, i don't blame him. He's a clever boy, showed that by how he left Fulham. Just think he'll be wanting off now 100%..

Hatate everyone knows wants away and if Rodgers could pick who to lose, it would be Hatate..

Hatate on top form is a better player than O'Riley though for me but O'Riley much more consistent. Both top players..

Hatate probably thought he'd get his move this summer but injury and the standout season and interest from O'Riley means he'll likely have to sit this window out..

Would leave us to much to do as you say in one department in the engine room..

 

If we lose O'Riley and Hatate, that's a massive hole we need to fix in the middle of the park.

We'd need two top players.

 

Aye, it's an area in an ideal world you want to bring someone in, to supplement what we've already got.. frustrating trying to build a team when we rotate players so quickly.
