Kyogo looks * hot in pre season… he’ll start each game and idah will cover him. So that’s striker sorted.

LW/RW:
Maeda, Forrest, Kuhn, palma, yang…. We’re trying to get that Antwerp winger in but if we don’t then 5 first team wingers is enough

CM:
O’reilly will leave so we really need to replace him with someone of as much potential or a player ready to go into the first team. Then that leaves us with McGregor, hatate, Bernardo, (new CM), Iwata, kwon, lawal, holm.
One/or both of the last two will potentially leave but we rarely rotate our midfield anyway when our best players are all fit.

LB/RB:
Right side is covered in Johnston and ralston. Taylor needs someone to push him or come in and be twice as good to warrant his replacement. We’re actively trying for left backs so that’s good.

CB:
Carter vickers starts, scales has shown alongside CCV he can perform. Dont think we’ll sign a CB until we get rid of two of lagerbielke, nawrocki, welsh, kobayashi.

GK:
All sorted, schmeichel is better than Joe. And we actually have recruited a promising youngster for longer term.

so if idah and Bernardo are givens. That leaves us needing to sign two CB’s, LB and one midfielder when O’reilly leaves. We need first team quality players and no more punts on shveds.

Rest of the squad is fine, and I actually like how much Rodgers has used the pre season games to look at the youngsters. Turley and Anderson deserve a chance this year but I think other Scottish clubs will want them on loan

 

The team has momentum around it at the moment. Get a few signings in this week and the place will be buzzing at the weekend.

 

the options on the wings are brutal outside of maeda ,when oriley is sold making up for the 18goals/19 assists is gonna fall heavily on the wide men we need far better on each side

The board now have an opportunity to send the feel good factor through the roof if we can bring in 3 quality players who could make the starting 11. We would go into this season feeling the best we have felt in a very long time if the board would just get their finger out and sign some quality players, not ‘projects’. For the love of * PLEASE for once build from a position of strength. The fans have every right if to be extremely angry if the board don’t back the manager and give him the players to at least have some sort of chance of doing something in Europe.

Yang should and probably will be loaned out I think. Probably waiting until we get another one in then he will be off I think.

The Mowbray situation was COMPLETELY different considering he tried to rip up basically the entire team by selling our most experienced players, brining in the likes of Josh Thompson and Morten Rasmussen and Joos Hooiveld.

We need a maximum 4 quality players to really progress (CB and CF being a priority).

 

How are you getting 4 players? We've lost that at least and we were short before they went.

Palma and Kuhn I'm expecting more of this season, Maeda and Forrest looking like carrying on their late season form already. Yang I have zero hopes for, Mikey Johnston......just naw! Would like another winger in.

Definitely need another CF-type in to mix it up striker-wise.

 

I can't see how you think we need a maximum of 4 quality players to progress. Perhaps if you want a starting 11 but absolutely nothing else. We need minimum 6 or 7 players. Granted there's a few to leave also.
