Well after last season our GK's were Bain and Seigrist.. I think we can call Smeichel and Sinisalo improvements on them surely? Aye there's still positions that need immediate attention like LB and ST x 2 but it's hardly as if we've done nothing at all unless you have some inside info the rest of us are missing, also Bernardo about to be confirmed, having him in now is surely an improvement than him being a Benfica player?

Yeah were weaker than last season. Same as the season before we ended up weaker. Currently keeping the trend of declining which is quite sad. Just preordered the away shirt and will keep a little hope until the end of August.

We need to decline each season. How else can we keep a title race going with the * state of that basket case across the city.

 

It's looking like we're going to turn it around and get the players in we need; ever since Rodgers' recent comments, I've been feeling far more optimistic about that. I'm still not going to be happy, though. One decent window (assuming it happens) won't make up for 3 terrible ones.

What would make me stop moaning? A quality DoF and an announcement that we'll be completely overhauling our recruitment process.

 

My personal feeling is we have offers on the table with a few players.. my only fear is these players have other offers too and will probably hold out until the last minute and if we will lose out we have no back up plan.

That or the board or just trolling us now..

Either way we will most likely start the season with the same team that finished it last season with GK being the exception.. that's pretty depressing to be honest..

 

Think a few domino's need to fall into place.
