    Just can’t get enough Depeche mode
    He looks class and i’m glad Rodgers wants a LB but the straight loan is the only concerning part. It’s a good start though and possibly one of a few different options we’re looking at.

    My major concern if it's a loan with no option to buy, as seems likely, is that at the end of the season we will have no LB in place and CL qualifiers means we'll be starting back early. I don't trust them to get a good replacement, or any replacement really, in before the qualifiers start, going on past experience.

    If it's a loan with an option I'm all for it though.

    Not necessarily. Could look to move for one in Jan., meaning we’d only need one next summer; or we promote Anderson or Frame to be backup.

    It's a loan, a one year quick fix with no chance if us paying the fee, even if his side were willing sell after the initial loan.

    Bit concerning that they've said they're not interested in letting him go. Surely we've not waited until a week before the season starts before putting in a loan offer for a player that isn't leaving his club.

    Either he's not plan A and we've worked our way down to him, or he is plan A and we've not bothered with any other left backs until now.

    Any interest in LB very welcome, but if it's a 1 year loan only and that's our plan A, then that's concerning.
    Loan only deals are ok for the last 2 hours of the window, not with 5 weeks to go.
