£15m Ireland CB, lol, gies * peace. You could buy the whole Ireland team for £15m.

Ffs Mikey Johnston is an international for them.

Tbh not sure many Internationals he's been in but can't mind spotting one of their cbs and thinking he'd be useful.

His Irish cb partner was sold previously for £23m so suppose teams in England have no problem paying the higher prices. That’s where it can be a * for us with the over inflated English league prices. I do think burnley would sell for between 7-10m though.

    And there lies the question?

Who was his partner? Lol, genuinely couldn't tell you.

As someone already said going down south shopping is basically a waste of time and money.

Nathan Collins. Signed for wolves for like 20m then brentford for 23m.
Btw I’m not saying I agree with those fees/valuations but if these teams can get higher fees for their players they’ll certainly go for it.
It can be a waste of time and money but if you go for the right players on the right deals it can turn out great like moussa Dembele, Scott Sinclair etc. I think O’Shea would be a definite upgrade on the position so I hope we’re going for him

There has to be a clause because there's not a chance they're accepting £7-10m after they paid £7m to get him.

Must be a relegation clause or some *.

Hopefully so or prolly out our reach, think he'd be a good addition, definitely improve the defence.

Ferveur Lyonnaise are reporting that Lyon have set an asking price of €35million (£29.5million) if they are to sell Jake O'Brien this summer.

That would represent a profit of around £28.5million on the transfer fee they paid to bring him to the club less than 12 months ago. It has been suggested that Everton have already bid around £17million for the centre back, an offer that is likely to be rejected.

There's another Irish CB worth well in excess of £15m. Maybe you haven't heard of him because he plays outside England.
Saying a player cannot be above a certain value because of who he plays for is just the kind of thing the english would say about Celtic players

It appears to be the only market Rodgers knows or is interested in tho and seen as we didn't bother our * to replace our head of recruitment we dont have much other option.

As an Ireland fan, I’m surprised at this tbh.

Never heard of him, but appears he's Shane Duffys backup signed for £1m less than a year ago, if some dolly * down south wants to pay that then well done Lyon, but won't change my mind.

BTW Lyon are * rotten and no way is he more highly regarded as Oreilly.

Hopefully we don't make the mistake of signing players from gash teams like Lyon or Milton Keynes Dons.

Would seem a Rodgers signing if so, would trust in that. Although NAT Philips says otherwise :56:

Perhaps we will get a loan deal sorted on deadline day...

MJ has shown up to be a useful asset in the championship. Maybe Burnley could be interested in a swap??
