    So we've been going on about a LB for years and now that our actual LB could well be leaving by maybe next year we're bringing in a loan?

    That's * embarrassing, so obviously haven't bothered there * even looking.

    Absolute * show is our scouting department.

    Waste of time for me, temporary fix.

    Wonder how many would knock t back if we Wolves don't go for a loan to buy? We saying we should sack it if that's the case?

    Not for me, I'd take a straight loan in a heartbeat. If he's the level we want yer talking 2-3 year max we get out him before he's off anyway. So quality for one year is better than average for 5 imo.

    2-3 years is still better than 1 though, in the same way.

    If we don't have an option it would mean potentially looking for 2x LBs this time next year assuming Taylor doesn't renew.

    I'd take him on loan but it does create more work down the line. Undoubtedly.

    One starting left back and Anderson as back up perhaps after the 12 months.
    I wouldn’t be against the loan with no option to buy at all tbh as I think if we sort the other positions with permanent transfers we’ll be looking good and can really have a go at CL. Look for another left back to come in January possibly or if not next summer but can identify them throughout the season. Would obviously much rather a buy option on
    This but doubt we’ll get it. Good to see we’re being linked with a higher caliber of player though tbf

    I can see both sides..

    Personally I always want the ltb option but it can't always be done..

    If the player in question is far better than what we have, improves us and gives us another dimension....then I'm going for it....for now..

    We do have to address it down the line though. Gets a top player in (for us anyway) and allows us to spend elsewhere and come back to it as left back has been a hard position to fill for us for years..

    Aye there's obvious positives. I'm just glad we have been linked with a LB tbh.

    It's evidently someone Rodgers likes the look of too. If it is a loan I'd be wanting money spent seriously elsewhere.

    It's been a cursed for us for a while. Laxalt, Bernabei, Bolingoli, Izaguirre (Second time round) even Scales was originally brought in as a LB.

    As others have said, I'd be pushing for a LTB or a longer deal, but if every other player we bring in this summer is either on a permanent deal or a LTB, I'd be ok with this being a straight loan.

    Obviously an LTB would be better but this is the last guaranteed CL group involvement so a loan isn't that bad if it improves our standing in Europe, get to the play off place at least and helps us attract better players next season on permanent deals

    Positive either way..

    A clearly higher standard of player in an area people were worrying we weren't gonna touch this window..

    Genuinely confident we're gonna come our of it in good shape..

    Don’t see the problem if it is just a loan with no option to buy. Aye we’ll be in the same position next season. At some point you have to have a bit a faith in the people in charge.
    Say we get Bueno on a one year loan along with other quality additions. Say we go on to be successful domestically and make a right good show of ourselves in the CL and maybe get out our group. Will people still be moaning he is only here for a year? I would hope not

    All true here boys, every word. Hopefully Wolves play ball and we can make it work for us long term, if not am taking him for the year 100%. Unless something else develops, which btw could be another reason deals drag on at times.
