Che Adams is literally the worst striker i have ever seen in my life. I just can't for my life understand how he can be a professional footballer.

O'Riley-Atalanta is not linked to Koopmeiners. But watch out for the Premier League: there's Southampton

Atalanta are currently pushing to buy Matt O'Riley from Celtic Glasgow. Nineteen goals and eighteen assists last season, the Danish midfielder born in 2000 is at the center of the Goddess' thoughts, who in the last few hours have gone as far as 17 million euros plus two in bonuses for the 23-year-old player: a firm no from the Scottish club, convinced they can cash in more from a player who is now valued at ten million euros more.

At this point, the ball is in Goddess' court, a club that in the next few days will have to decide whether or not to bid for O'Riley. The profile is highly regarded by the management and the interest in these hours is not linked to exits: the possible purchase of the footballer born in London is not in fact dependent on the exit of Teun Koopmeiners, the first target of Cristiano Giuntoli's Juventus. Should an offer of sixty million euros arrive for the Dutchman, then another midfielder would also arrive in Bergamo. While the purchase of O'Riley, should it materialize, would be unrelated to any exit. In the meantime, however, keep an eye on the interests from England: in the last few hours in the Premier League, Southampton have made concrete moves , a team led by a Scottish manager: Russell Martin.

On O'Riley, his current manager Brendan Rodgers, said: "He's working well and he's focused. Of course when you're a good young player who's committed and professional like him you attract attention. He's working well and there's nothing to report about him. Matt has been at the club for three years, he's become the player he is and he knows it's a privilege to play for Celtic."

SOUTHAMPTON have had a £14million-plus bid for Matt O'Riley rejected.

Saints boss Russell Martin recently slapped in that offer for the in-demand Celtic star

But Hoops chiefs - who have already knocked back bids from Atalanta - kicked it out.

SunSport understands Southampton’s' O'Riley offer was worth an initial £14m - with the promise of odd-ons.

Martin had O’Riley at MK Dons and is keen to be reunited with him in the Premier League.

But Celtic want a lot more for the 23-year-old Denmark midfielder and are in no rush to sell.

Serie A side Atalanta have also had offers knocked back for O’Riley, who is attracting major interest from across Europe.

But it could take a record Scottish fee of over £25m for Celtic to do business

O’Riley is under contract until 2027 and boss Brendan Rodgers recently revealed the club is “relaxed” over the situation

He said: “Every player has a value, but we see him as a really important player, and while he’s here, we’ll continue to develop him and improve

Celtic is a club where you can move on but you don’t have to, and it’s a very difficult club to move on from.

“But naturally, with the wages that are on offer for players, then that makes it a real challenge for Celtic to compete at that level.”

We should have a personal phone line with an answering machine on it for O'Riley bids.

Set it to record saying "if you're offer is under £30 million just hang up"

I honestly think we should be looking for double for that. These bids are atrociously under and I'd tell them to sling their hook.

Call me crazy, but the longer this drags on the more I think he might stay.

£14 million is so far off what we're asking for is be shocked if either Southampton or Atalanta bid £25 million or above.

    Who knows :fear:
