Looks class, but has played by far the most amount of games on left where we're much stronger.
I'd be in favour, as long as we spend the same on a right winger

Sounds like we’ve told them they have until the end of the week to sign or we’ll move on, meanwhile the agent has been trying to get another big club to high jack the deal. We’ve probably tabled a decent offer but we aren’t their(agents) first choice.

Let's be honest, unless you're a Celtic fan, moving to Celtic is never going to be your first choice, especially if there is top teams in top leagues looking at you. That's from both a financial point of view and a sporting point of view.

However, this is why being patient is so important. It might not happen for Balikwisha but there will be a winger that becomes available as the end of the window draws closer and we will know that there may be an opportunity to explore that as we get closer to that deadline.

It's a domino effect for clubs in our situation.

Absolute bang on the money with this post.

As frustrating as it is, the patient approach is our best chance at bringing in genuine quality. Annoyingly, it also increases the chances of us not getting business done at all which makes it look like we’ve sat around on our hands for months on end.

It's been the way for the last few years. It's one of the reasons why we were able to sign CCV.

We will have multiple deals on the table for multiple players, waiting to go ahead as soon as the player/selling club are ready to sign/agree.

Yup! It's also likely why we're seeing more loans/loan-to-buy deals on the last day, as selling clubs fail to get people off their books with straight forward sales that they'd prefer
