Two weeks to go and not one outfield player signed. Even with what we have we should win the league but our showing in Europe has been derisory of late. We are going to the Champions league party again, are we just going to sit in the corner again or try to get up on the dance floor a couple of times at least. We have dominated Scotland for 20 years, that’s not the benchmark. Season tickets sold out CL will sell out, try and move forward and get a bit closer in Europe, staying ahead of the huns is pretty easy. We should be looking to be 3rd best team in CL groups every year at least. Show some * ambition above the domestic game.

Like everyone else I want signings announced as soon as possible. The quicker players sign, the quicker they should settle and perform for us. Need to start seeing some more signings soon.

If we are genuinely targeting guys like the names who have been linked this week then that's the sort of level you would hope we target even if we don't get the deals for them over the line

How a LB had not been bought, or at least strongly Linked, is criminal to the * extreme imo.

It's great having the GK positions sorted. Def a continuation of where Joe left of at.

But, with the league starting in 2 weeks, not to have signed any outfield player yet isn't good enough.

Massive week ahead. Need 2 in this week, bedded in for a bit before the season begins.

If we can get Bernardo tied down and at least one other position (looking likely to be winger) before the end of July then I'd be okay with that to start with.

Ideally we get another 2 on top of Bernardo but unless it springs out of nowhere (which can happen ala Schmeichel) I think it'll be closer to another one.

Happy to have the GK position sorted, and we've done very well there so credit to the club for that, but need to get a move on elsewhere now.

Albeit a big name and a hopeful replacement, a job well done there by the club.
Not often that is said.

As indicated by the fact we've yet to remotely improve on the match day squad of last season, which was about 3 players worse off than the season before and was already then about 4 or 5 players short of being the required level for the UCL to not get embarrassed in.

Making us, realistically two years behind where we was and about 5-8 players short.

This board does what most politicians do, especially at Westminster, ground you down and deliver the bare * minimum, that when they actually do something remotely positive (keepers), it's hailed from the rafters and gets paraded as an excuse for their short comings and negligence for years, yet again.

It's not even a case of us being quiet and cards to our chest, there is just no real links at all - we aren't that special or unique to be able to keep that quiet better than most other clubs, while at the same time be absolutely * in the transfer window.
We really need to have made more signings before now.
End of the month isn't even good enough, it's a joke. Literally two weeks to the league starts and the squad is in America. So anyone who does sign between now and the start of the season isn't going to be up to speed with the squad at all. So chalk off any new signings making an instant impact for season starts.

That takes us back to end of Ange time, even he needed reinforcement and backing to push on in Europe.

It's actually shocking how far behind we let ourselves slip.

Can't blame rest of Europe being ahead of us, it's literally us not doing the work to stay still, let alone push forward.

You could argue this window (so far) is worse than last years yet some people still stick up for the board.

Now of course the window is still open and I pray to * we do something meaningful but surely having players in with a chance to settle is massive for us as not all players settle in straight away. Some do yes before the happy clappers start but getting in earlier is clearly better.

Why not try get players in and away on pre season with the rest of the squad??
