    I'm just saying so far.

We need a good few players to come in.

I wouldn't be happy if one of those 4 were our main incoming players.

Glad of schmeicel , the other goalie know not much on him. Idah and Bernardo, I'm not fussed either way if it's an in or collapse.

Don't think we need major surgery but tad worried about possible outgoings ie oreilly, kyogo, ccv

I get what you're saying. We need a big marquee signing where it's apparent we're really strengthening the team in one area. It's been a while since I feel like we've actually done that.

Why worry about so far? I think we have started well, forward planning on the GK role which we all wanted, I think put the moans down for a couple of weeks at least, let's see what they deliver us in the next 2 or 3 weeks

I know you're not one to complain or focus on the negatives, but that is too hot init.

What forward planning? A 38 year old goalkeeper after knowing we needed one for theast 6 months? Haggling over dimes and cents for 2 players that werent good enough to be regular starters? No indication of a left back. Sold one of our strikers leaving us with, *checks notes, 1 recognised striker? This board couldn't forward plan a proverbial * up when it comes to the team. The manager deserves players in as soon as possible to get them a good pre season and to get them used to the style of play.

We've bought a young keeper who could be our keeper for 5 more years+ after using the experience of one of the best goalkeepers about in the world for a year.

    I'd say forward planning.

We're currently trying our hardest to get a striker who basically won us the cup and league. Sure we will have a backup option if we can't get rodgers main target. I see no issue here.

Looking like we're trying to get a pretty brilliant winger and in advanced talks.

Infact out of all your negative Nancy points the only valid one is a left back. However going by recent activity this window, we won't know about that until within 1 week of signing them.

Bernardo is basically done according to many good sources, but without him last season guess what? We would most likely have lost the league. That's how important that goal against the scum was. At 3.5m that's the type of project signing we should make. Ones that make an impact.

We've also not sold matt yet. If the offer doesn't smash our record, he will still be here.

So all in so far We've actually not really signed a "project" that we know will be pish and never be good enough. Looks like we're finally going for what rodgers wants. Ready made quality. However folk like you think we're real Madrid and it's easy to wave a we hand and sign any player instantly. Like we've not got better leagues, just as much money and cracking weather to contend with.

Need another 2 in by this time next week to be closer to last seasons quality.

    Step it up Celtic.

Just to stay ahead of the huns is a disgustingly low benchmark and not of the standard a club who holds itself in the highest esteem.

Callum O'Hare signed for Sheffield United on a free transfer. We could have certainly afforded him. I think it's a missed opportunity. O'Hare > Bernardo both in terms of talent and opportunity cost.

Speaking of midfield options, Stuart Armstrong is a free agent. I think we should sign him.

    Started well?

Our squad is weaker than it was last season. We’ve strengthened in the goalkeeping department, but we’re weaker in midfield and up top.

How exactly is that starting well?

Season starts in two weeks and we have one senior striker and one senior left back.

As already mentioned we don't need major surgery but quality in the right areas, another lack lustre transfer window would be criminal given the position we are in.

Would it be fair to say its been lacklustre so far? Think its a fair assessment currently.

As @Officer Doofy says above. Only GK position sorted. LB, CB, CDM, CF, Winger all still required.

Took the club over 4 weeks to sort 1 position.

A CDM has been needed for years, a LB also. Can't believe the club will turn it around in the next 5 weeks or so.

A lot more to say on this ineptitude by tue club, but I'll hold quiet until the season starts. By then it's fair time to assess where we are, what we've done and still need to do.

Its the same * every season, the money is there to improve the team on the park and build on a position of strength to get out of sight of the Huns but We never do it.

You always try to remain positive but given our track record in recent windows you start to get that sinking feeling that once again we will only do the bare minimum , hopefully i'm wrong.

I cannot imagine this is helping your mental health. My depression/anxiety flare up in summer, and are triggered by heat. On top of that, it's the transfer window. I'm more optimistic when we play matches.
