Only thing I’ve really been impressed by is his passing.

He’s not strong, wouldn’t say he was commanding in the air, lacks pace and his defending has been ropey.

 

I think there's a good player in there, still young too.
Hope to see more of him this season as Scales eventually phased out.

 

Rash is how I'd describe him from what I've seen ... to be fair he hasn't had a proper run ... doubt he'll get one as BR clearly doesn't rate him ... may as well move on now.

 

Basically my take on him..

No a fan at all..

 

Move him on to a club that will actually develop the guy so he gets a chance.
Our record in buying young players and developing them is not the best.

Played next to * all football at celtic.
And I can say from last few small cameos he made end of season I was much less nervous than when with Scales.

I liked his passing; but I just can't get over how easily Miovski bypassed him. If you get left 1v1 in the CL, fair enough and every now and then the Huns have a player with a bit of quality; but no Celtic defender should be beaten that easily by an SPL attacker. That moment there put me right off him (although Bernabei shares the blame).

 

Not really. As I mentioned in first place was cb isn't a position most managers * about with...especially when title is so close.

 

That's definitely a consideration, particularly last season.

 

Other than his poor performance against the sheep in the 1-1 draw i don't think hes done much wrong.

 

Agree with this. Would give him 6 months and go from there.

Figured it had to be something like that although at the time he was rubbing his nose a lot so I thought it was just a * nose at first. Not a good sign given all the injury issues he had in his first season.

 

Deffo one of these players who’s going to be injured most of his contract here.

 

Really want to give the big man time to find a rhythm but just cannot see him making it here. Happy enough to keep him till we have at least 3 quality options, but after that I'd punt.

 

Not on the USA tour by the looks of things. Think it's time the big man moved on. £4m is a lot to write off but if we can claw anything of it back then I would be delighted if he moved on. Showed in dispatches he could be a passable celtic CB but really needs to be shifted. The fact brendan praised him for his performances against his Leicester team makes my head wobble. * ridiculous signing tbh.

 

He looked decent his first 3 games or something before getting injured, next to CCV. Kobayashi first 3 games or so looked good next to CCV as well. He’s not that level of poor, but the glimpses after of him I want better. He’s better than Lagerbielke I think, but 3rd last option, with lager 2nd last. Kobayashi the last one.

One point I’m sure Tomoki was the preferred option CB than either him or Lager. Scored an OG as well when he was but can’t see the talent there that some others have.
