    Great post. There's literally no excuse for us not to sufficiently strengthen the starting eleven this Summer. Another big opportunity for us to seize (again), it's up to them to finally deliver.

    Because our captain is plays that position very well in our domestic games. And for domestic matches he's better in that position than a more advanced midfielde role.

    Yeah I think a proper CDM still has a massive place in our side domestically. A CDM wins the ball and starts the attacks, can help cover the defence when the opponents go on the counter.

    I think a CDM with McGregor and Hatate or Bernardo in front of them creates and scores plenty.

    McGregor's best seasons in a Celtic shirt were under Rodgers the first time round when he was more advanced and scoring goals.

    A quality CDM is a must. If it means moving McGregor forward one then even better.

    I am feeling fairly comfortable with the transfer window so far. Schmeichel is an upgrade on Hart and we have some succession planning with the Finnish goalkeeper as well. Bernardo looks to be on his way. Idah will likely sign as well. Then it is on to improving a few vital areas like left back and on the wing.

    I'd say his best seasons were under Ange - he was pulling the strings and dominating Scottish football, even with a broken cheek.

    About half way though the window and the squad is weaker now, than what we ended the season with.

    Simple analysis of things at this stage, is that's very poor. Need to up our game big time and get quality in.

    No more talk or * excuses. Action is what's needed.

    * sick of them...even if we pull off a few signings they need to go...They are doing nothing but hold us back by wanting to stay just 1 foot in front of Sevco.
