Can't remember where I read it, but I read the Austrian boy was excellent for Salzburg until he moved to RB, where he was terrible, and that's partly why they never signed him.

Would be delighted with him coming in as first choice CB, but if Ralston leaves we ideally need another RB.

 

If we get all 5 that we are heavily rumored with, a left back and centre half is still bare minimum required in my opinion. A lot more to be positive about now though.

 

A LB, CB and CM needed on top of those linked, so still some way to go. But if we do get in those heavily linked it's a good start.

 

We'd cruise to a treble with Kyogo, Miovski and Idah.

 

As refreshing as this week has started, suspicious til they are officially announced.

Still waiting on * Bernardo, when it seemed this deal was done weeks before.

If everything pulls off, it's great positive moves, but we still need them completed before we congratulate the club for doing the right things for once.

It’s very encouraging but we have not improved from last season as yet!!! These signings keep us as we were more or less on cup final day.
It’s only the tip of what we need. I’ll give credit when we have improved from last season.

 

Also he's club grown so fits into the European squad nicely. If there is only 17 foreign squad members they are pretty much taken

I do think we should at least be looking at a third choice striker, even if it was a loan. Ideally a youth player would be used there. I suppose Maeda would like be the default third choice if Kyogo and Idah were out.

 

Great thing is the Club is actually doing what it should be doing. We should go after decent targets for a decent price and sometimes dig out a jewel among them that's going to bring in a huge profit. Our continued participation in Europe and the fact that players can see us as a shop window on that stage is a bonus. Any decent young player is going to be thinking about their career. We can offer the opportunity for them to build on their experience and medal haul. Look at that eejit Kane..........has he ever actually won anything?
