    I think he will, even if its a loan I'd be shocked if he's here at the start of next season.

    If we were going to be signing another, older keeper to come in and help a newer, younger goalkeeper, we should just ask Hart to stay for an additional season.

    Be open and honest with him that we are looking to the future and he is number 2 but it’s what he does for this youngster behind the scenes that help.

    I feel like many of us thought that this season and it hasn't happened. Also the problem is nobody is covering his wages, he's apparently on 15kpw.

    he came here to play first team football. He's minted and I think he'd rather just go out on a high.

    No chance is he on 15k a week, he'll be on around 7.5k.

    If he could be talked into taking a coaching role, I think he could segue easily enough, but why would he? Especially if he's already said he doesn't want to... At the end of the day, our future recruitment isn't his problem... If we'd done it right in summer this would be irrelevant! It's on us to fix this, not him...

    CELTIC are closing in on a deal to sign Aston Villa keeper Viljami Sinisalo.

    SunSport revealed the Finn was on the Hoops' radar back in May.
    Sinisalo, 22, is now poised to move to Parkhead on a permanent deal as the clubs discuss a fee.

    Celtic are on the verge of completing a move for Denmark keeper Kasper Schmeichel - who will be No1 next season.

    But Brendan Rodgers also has an eye on the future and highly-rated Sinisalo has been targeted.

    Capped three times by Finland, the 6ft 3in keeper spent last season on loan at Exeter City in League One.


    Sinisalo previously had a loan stint at Ayr United in season 2020/21 and is now set to return to Scotland.

    Celtic lost Joe Hart this summer after he retired, with Benji Siegrist also likely to depart.

    Rodgers made a move for his former Leicester City No1 Schmeichel last week and a deal is close.

    But Celtic had always been looking for two keepers and Sinisalo comes with a growing reputation.

    Exactly what I was hoping for with Joe Hart and now with Schmeichel. A decent young GK to sit and learn from experienced pro while playing the odd game this season ready for next season
