Not sure if Djokovic making a Wimbledon final at 37 and so soon after surgery is a sign of the level tennis currently at, or testament to just how good he is. Or a bit of both. I’d be amazed if he beats Alcaraz though.

Harri Heliövaara (Finland) & Henry Patten (UK) win the men's doubles. Really tight final that could've went either way.

The women's final earlier this afternoon was a great match too, especially after if looked like it was going to be very one sided after the first set.

I found the ladies final yesterday to be most entertaining.

Not sure about the men’s today.

If both gentlemen play to their abilities then we are in for a thoroughly absorbing encounter.

    * me, another early break. Djokovic needs to find answers fast.

Thought this would be a challenge too many for Djokovic. There’s no way he can be feeling 100% so soon after surgery. I’m amazed he has made it this far.

This could be one of the quickest finals ever. Djokovic is being utterly outplayed so far. 90% vs 58% on 1st serve points won is mental.

Can see Djokovic isn’t moving anywhere near like he can. Alcaraz is far too good for someone who isn’t tip top. Looks weak as well Djokovic.

Alcaraz is clearly in a hurry to get sat down for the Euros final. :giggle1:

Ideally want Djokovic to win this third set so I get to watch more tennis. Would love a 5 setter.

Alcaraz a worthy winner. Just too good on the day for Djokovic. Coming into it at a great time as well with the big 4 either retired or very close to it. He looks like he could go on to dominate the sport for many years to come as long as his body holds up.

At least we weren’t robbed of a bit of drama. Djokovic coming back from 40-love to stay in it was incredible. If Djokovic had managed to win that set who knows where Alcaraz would’ve been mentally. Congrats to the kid, generational talent.

Good to see an interesting 3rd set but, as a spectacle, the final was disappointing. Alcaraz is an outstanding player but it would have been nice to see a much closer match.

I think it was all nerves from Alcaraz's side that Djokovic was able to hang in there a little longer.

Not the greatest final but Alcaraz was excellent.
