See if we added a genuinely better LB than Taylor, say in the next week. What a lift that would give everyone after signing (looks done) Schmeichel.

Or say a winger, a CF, or a DMF. All would indicate a real positive step. Just need to keep that foot down now.

Keeper and a left back were the bare minimum for me before this America trip as they were glaring gaps to be filled. If we manage that (better late than never) I'll be a lot more relaxed about us 'finding quality' the rest of the window.

    Quite happy with Kasper.

Still at a high level. Gives us more time to find a proper replacement.

That should be Schmeichel and Bernardo wrapped up by Monday. If we bring in a good left back and left cb maybe O’Shea then soon after we’re looking fairly decent with some time left to add in other positions. Defence was our main issue last couple of seasons so really hoping we can bring in a quality left back and left centre back soon as we will look so much more solid

If Rodgers can get 4 or 5 experienced players and then we make further announcements on our footballing structure I'd be content..

Schmeichel would be a good start. Hopefully 1yr with a 2nd year option.

Schmeichel, Bernardo, Idah + 1 other and I think that's our lot this off season.

We need another 2 at least but can't see it. As usual a plea to Celtic to make a * of me.

Ok so you disagree with me i take it?. Instead of just having a go tell me what you think I've said is wrong or what you think we will sign?

Or are you like so many others in you actually agree with what I've said but don't want to say it.

This is a forum for opinions and yes I moan like * but generally I've good reason to.

Interested to hear your opinion rather than just abuse.

We should all haggle like * about the price of our season tickets and eventually pay up two weeks after the season starts.

I think we will see at least 5 or 6 in the door at a minimum as We need to strengthen positions that are needing urgent attention, The Board know that if We mess this window up that the Supporters will not be happy with them one bit, this is their chance to make it right, so far it has been very quiet and very frustrating but the signing of Kasper Schmeichel is a step in the right direction, hopefully many more experienced signings will follow.

Let’s get some of the fringe players out of the club, too much deadwood hanging about as we keep investing in projects that rarely step up to the next level.

Celtic are working on signing a second goalkeeper this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

As Football Insider reported earlier on Saturday, the Hoops are expected to complete the stunning signing of Kasper Schmeichel this weekend

However, Brendan Rodgers is now pushing for a second shot-stopper to be brought in during this window.

The Leicester City legend will be heading to Celtic Park as the number-one goalkeeper next season, but the Hoops want someone to provide backup.

According to sources, Celtic are in talks to sign a second goalkeeper which will add even more strength in depth.

The club expects a second deal to be finalised before they fly out to the United States next week to commence their pre-season tour.

That would allow the new signing the chance to get to know his teammates and settle in with the club.

The reason Celtic are in the market for goalkeepers this summer is because Joe Hart chose to retire at the end of last season.

The former England international had played a significant role in Celtic’s success throughout his time at the club, and his absence left a big hole.

Hart played 153 times for the Scottish giants and kept 64 clean sheets, which is why Brendan Rodgers is pushing to provide the necessary replacements.

The Hoops boasted the best defensive record in the Scottish Premiership last season, which helped them retain the title.

The Hoops are also attempting to strengthen the squad at the other end of the pitch, with Norwich City’s Adam Idah the main target following his impressive loan spell at Celtic.

The Canaries rejected Celtic’s initial £4million bid, but Football Insider reported that the Scottish club are preparing an improved offer.
