Was good to see him back against Ayr. Decent half of football from him.

At 21 he needs to be playing, him going on loan would be good as long as it’s to a decent level like english championship

When we finally let Welsh go, Murray will step up to that position of "left it late mate and you badly need game time we can't give you, but we need you for a quota, so yeah.." position

Realistically I don’t think an English championship side is going to take a gamble on him. Maybe a league 1 side or spfl side though

SPFL would be ideal, that way we can actually see if he’s got anything about him. I think he’s been unlucky with injuries but is probably never going to be good enough for us, but a loan would be great for him and get his career back on track

Yeah surely a bottom half spfl side would be interested in him or maybe dundee Utd only after being promoted might be interested. Game time is what the lad needs right now, don’t think he’ll ever be a starter for us but could prove me wrong. If not a good loan will get us some sort of fee

Sadly think it might be too late for him- seen so many times how badly it affects players if they aren't getting that game time at 18/19/20. Hope I'm wrong, we've a terrible record of bringing CBs through from the academy.

He could take welsh’s place as like 4th choice cb but he won’t be a starter for us I don’t think. Can still go onto have a decent career elsewhere though hopefully n bring us in a few. Will need a loan out for the season I reckon to see where he’s at

We do but in this instance injuries have been the issue he's barley kicked a ball the last few years

Think he's done very well the last 2 games. Hope he gets plenty of game time in the upcoming friendlies.

Really liked the look of him when he first came through, for development a loan to Motherwell or something would be ideal

Celtic are weighing up a loan move to Admira Wacker for Dane Murray.

The young centre played the opening two friendlies of the Hoops’ pre-season against Ayr United and Queen’s Park. The 21-year-old is now back fully-fit and is in need of first-team

Celtic still have big hopes for the academy graduate and feel a spell in Austria’s second tier could help Murray’s development.

The Hoops have a tie up with Admira Wacker.

Matthew Anderson and Tobi Oluwayemi both had spells with the Austrian outfit last season

Think he has much more potential than Welsh had. So be keen tk see how he goes after a full season

Be a good move to him. Be nice to continue to utilise that partnership with some of the younger lads that are showing promise but not enough right now to cut it

Bad injuries have ruined his chances of making it here most likely. That and his lack of pace..

Good player and well thought of, Austria would be an ideal next step for his personal development.

Dane Murray is set to join Queen’s Park on loan.

The Spiders are close to finalising a deal for the Celtic central defender

Boss Callum Davidson has been looking to add to his backline options and Celtic are also keen for Murray to go out and get games.

The youngster has had a dreadful time with injury but is now back to full fitness.

The Hoops feel the 21-year-old would benefit from first-team exposure.

Queen’s hope to finalise a move before Friday's clash with Livingston

Queens Park would be a very good move for him. I have high hopes for Murray, as I thought he showed true potential and application before his bad injury. He would learn a lot under Calum Davidson at the Spiders.
