Looks like a ready made Celtic player that would be perfectly suited to a BR team. Reads play well, wins the ball, good awareness , has that short burst over 5 yards to get away from someone , generally gets stuck in around both boxes , draws fouls. More than a hint of the CalMac's about him ....

 

If we got him in and he continues to improve he could be our captain for years to come when Mcgregor hangs up the boots. Really want to get him in, looks a top talent

 

100% this. He's destined for big things imo.

Premiership team comes in for him we are * as can't compete with the wages down there and what about McGowan of Dundee does anyone think he could do a job .

 

I wouldn't be surprised if people at the club will be surprised in the summer when he leaves for England instead of us.

 

The only way we will get him is if we plan to play him, otherwise he will likely go to an EPL team and loaned out.

I am not saying we should play him or he is ready but I do think unless we are bringing him in to play which might change it for him he will likely go elsewhere.

As good as our midfield is when the main three are fit, I do think it needs a bit of an overhaul in the summer when O’Riley goes.

McGregor will start most games but we should be managing him better so he isn’t breaking down in second half of the season. For example we are playing away to big European team on a Wednesday and at home to a bottom six team on Saturday have someone that can step in.

Hatate class player on his day but is pretty injury prone and doesn’t really last 90 minutes. He is our main flair player in midfield without him there is a gap. We could do with another centre mid with flair to share minutes.

Bernardo loan is up and to me price seems a bit rich. His minutes have also disappeared recently, I would be surprised if we signed him for the price quoted based on what he has achieved.

Iwata does a specific role but not sure he is the answer to our need for a holding midfielder. He will likely stay given how much upheaval we will have elsewhere in the team.

Holm has something but needs game time should be loaned.

Kwon loan or sold.

McCarthy needs released.

Lawal I would like to see him given preseason and a chance. He has a lot of qualities our midfield could do with. Question is can he do it for us? Possibly a loan if he’s not quite ready.

I think we need two possibly three new players and a bit of a clear out.

 

We sell MOR I want him in the door pronto. Even if it means we loan him out we need to sign this lad.

Even if we keep MOR I still want him.

Huns been sending scouts to watch him in friendlies and want him in. I'll be * raging if we get beat to this signing by those *.

 

We should be doing everything in our power to sign this lad. If that means 3-4 mill then pay it.

 

He is very slow.

 

We should sign him, I think a midfield choice of him, Bernardo, McGregor, Hatate and Iwata would be quite strong.

 

Xavi wasn’t very quick either to be fair. Neither was Pirlo.

 

It’s the one big concern about him. We should still be signing him though, sometimes if a player is clever enough, speed isn’t as important.

Watson too. He seems less technical but is much more athletic. Get both in.

 

Bring him home.

 

This is why I would be ok with giving Lawal an opportunity. Absolute monster of a boy and looks to have added a lot to his game. At 21 we now need to make a decision. Is he someone we see as the answer going forward long term? Or do we sell him on?
