Kill me now if true. I can't take another summer like last year.

It shouldn’t but it genuinely enrages me.

After saying that they got it wrong in the last couple of windows...

... They carry on the same?

They are heavily business oriented so I doubt we'll see many incoming while we have so many players on the books still. We'll need to get rid of deadwood in order to free up space in the squad.

If they wouldn't spend money last summer why would they want to do it this summer. Last summer we were in a position of strength having just won a treble banked the champions league cash and would soon bank the Jota cash that all tied in with Rodgers coming back made it almost impossible to think we wouldn't spend yet here we are again

Nothing will change as long as Lawwell is at the Club in any capacity, Lawwell and our Board are business minded and are only interested in selling our top players for huge transfer fees and replacing them with average * on lower transfer fees/wages.

There's is absolutely no way that is true. Why even bother buying into that.

That's the thing mate they held their hands up said it was handled badly. That's why i actually had some optimism coming into this window but it's slowly been beaten out of me.

Seeing we've made an approach now for Idah which is a start but still a long way to go and we've sat around doing nothing too long.

I don't believe that to be honest, some of it might come true but the reality is that it will be coincidence rather than them knowing anything because O'Riley will likely be sold soon, our recruitment of a left back could be poor and Idah will have discussions with Norwich so a move won't be instant.

Yeah that’s how I seen it since the start of the window. Only spend anything big if we lose big players.

Rangers rebuilding so they will probably like to see how that goes, knowing it’s probably going to take more than a season so will risk just going with what we have and hoping it will be enough for another year.

No guaranteed CL income for league winners so that already will have the board less keen on spending, hoping we have enough to see us through a few non CL seasons.

We won’t compete much further in Europe even if we did push the boat out and spend £30m. And it’s not worth spending that to win the league here with all the riches that come with it from now on (£3m probably).

    * for us that we aren’t adventurous in the spending department but we should be looking into proper scouting and picking up some real good young talent that maybe can get us few results in Europe that we haven’t managed in a while.

Not to say we won’t spend any money this summer but it probably won’t be much.
