Now July and not a hint of anything.

Already getting to the stage of what the * are we doing.

 

Will write this down to look back on if we haven't signed a player from a week today all the board need their balls kicked and why have they not appointed a head of recruitment is it no one in the boards family want the job .

 

Fair and valid point, Window has been open a few weeks however, recruitment & scouting runs 365 days a year. Can sign folk outwith window.

I know it's not Celtic-related but this business of EPL clubs doing deals where guys like Elliot Anderson and Yankuba Minteh are going for £30+Million stinks to high heaven. No doubt it'll be something to do with balancing the books for the FFP rules but it makes me sick.

 

On the face of it, I would look at Celtic as a great place to go in as a DOF atm. Behind the scenes is the issue though, could probably have one meeting with the board and see a lack of ambition and nip it in the bud.

As long as they are a point ahead of the huns their job is done to them.

 

Aye no more excuses now, into July, need to see some solid rumours start popping up.

Would be expecting at least 3 of GK, CB, CM and LB to be sorted by the end of the month. I think ST will drag on until August and I don't see us signing an experienced winger this summer unless Palma leaves.

 

Realistically we need 5 solid ready to play first team players. GK, CB, LB, CM and then a winger who can also play striker. Could easily argue we need 6. Transfers take time but the fact we have zero of the 6 we need is quite worrying to say the least.

We also need to lose minimum 6 players as well and more if you factor in loans for the likes of Kwon, Yang & Holm. All 3 I wouldn't give up on yet but need game time.

 

Aye, blatant cheating just to get round the FFP rules imo.

 

Going into pre season with Scott Bain as first choice.

Was hoping we'd have a couple of shrew pre contracts done and sonw excitement..

Would be nice if we started motoring now and got the ball rolling..

You have alarm bells constantly going off in your head man. Just calm down.

 

For now, I’m hopeful we have identified targets that we are working on and can announce within the next 2 weeks (I know sounds ridiculous when you say it out loud)

If, in 2 weeks’ time, that proves not to be the case and we still haven’t signed anyone then I would say the time to worry will have arrived.

Surely to * they aren’t going to screw it up all over again?!

 

This is an issue also. If we weren't linked with any players but had shifted more of the dead wood and had umpteen outgoing loans sorted, I'd be less concerned. But so far we've got Haksa away and that's it? It's not even just stinginess, cos a stingy club would prioritise getting players off the books asap. It's just apathy.
