    What we know

    First league game at home
First hun league game at home.

First round of fixtures should be

    Home games

    Rangers
    Aberdeen
    Hearts
    Hibs
    Motherwell

    Away games

    St mirren
    Dundee
    Dundee utd
    St Johnstone
    Ross county
    Kilmarnock

That's on the rotational basis of fixtures from the year before with dundee utd obviously taking livingston spot

We were away to them first time last season, the home/away fixture is flipped every year.

The champions will raise the title flag and kick-off their defence of the SPFL Premiership title with a home game against Kilmarnock on Sunday, August 4 (KO: 16.30).

Brendan Rodgers’ side, of course, sealed the title against the Ayrshire team with a scintillating 5-0 win at Rugby Park back in May.

Celtic met the fourth-placed side last term four times during the league campaign with two wins, a draw and a reverse – the run starting with a 3-1 victory at Celtic Park and ending, of course, with that title-clinching game following the split.

The Kilmarnock match is followed by another Sunday game in a trip to Easter Road to take on Hibernian on August 11 at 12.30, while a journey to Paisley to play St Mirren on Saturday, August 24 is next on the agenda before Celtic’s second home game of the term – the first derby of the season which is scheduled for Saturday, August 31.

First thought that came to my head was we will only have a few singings in the door come the Huns game and still trying to get a few over the line :38:

It’s quite a tough run of opening fixtures playing 4 of last seasons top 6 in the first 5 games and an away game at the stadium we struggle most at.

Right enough I would rather go to Easter Road with a clear week to prepare for the game.
