Currently reading Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha by Roddy Doyle. Probably the funniest book I’ve read, belly laughed my way through the first couple of chapters.

Copied of The Wanderers and Clockers by Richard Price arrived today, anyone read them?

If you liked Paddy Clarke try A Star Called Henry. That is my favourite Roddy Doyle book.

Finished Michael Connelly's The Late Show and enjoyed the read. The author introduces us to a new main leading character although the style is still very similar to his previous crime novels.

If you haven’t already you should check out gone baby gone, also by Lehane, and also made into a movie. The book is far superior imo, although the movie is also excellent. Part of the Kenzie and Genarro series.

One of my favourite books ever. Must've read it a dozen times between 17 and 30.

Currently reading Killing Thatcher by Rory Carroll..

It's really balanced and gives really useful detail about the war as well as being gripping.

I have read a lot of his books and the quality is very good over most of them.

Finished John Connolly's The Woman In The Woods. Another brilliant entry in the authors Charlier Parker PI series with its usual supernatural/horror twist. Great read loved it.
