Limited. Don’t want to lay into him too much, but he’s the weak link.

I thought he was pretty poor tonight. Obviously the error at the goal but just in general he didn’t look out of place in a team that couldn’t pass the ball to each other.

He got a lot of terrible passes in to him but he lacked composure and constantly backed off a winger that was constantly coming in on his right. His failure to realise this and show him the byline was poor.

Back up for Celtic and Scotland. Gets on wi it and never hides so I'll never go studs up on him. Clearly limited and found out at this level.

Not the only one to have few dodgy moments tonight either.

Edit: Just heard Andy Robertsons comments about him afterwards. Great to hear. Sums up Ralston.

Andy Robertson has said Scotland's performance during their 1-1 draw against Switzerland was far closer to the standard he expects from the national side in Euro 2024.

In what was a well-contested Group A encounter, Scott McTominay fired Steve Clarke's men in front on 13 minutes, before Xherdan Shaqiri pulled the Swiss level on 16 minutes.

The former Liverpool midfielder had pounced on a loose ball from Celtic full-back Anthony Ralston in the lead-up to the equaliser – but Scotland captain Robertson leapt to the defence of his colleague, hailing his performance thereafter while likewise praising his character.

"It was much more like us," said Robertson. "We were aggressive, on the front foot and we got off to a better start. We obviously then make a mistake – but there's no doubt about it, Tony Ralston was absolutely unbelievable after that mistake.

"Not many people can come back from that, it was a difficult one for him, but in the second half he was different class."

Honestly he did * that, great finish or no, but Hanley next to him where he was passing towards I’d expect to be there. He wasn’t, so he shouldn’t blindly pass it there so it’s on him, but he was put in a * of a position.

He was left 1 v 1 against a good winger so many times. Surely when you're playing 3 CBs Hendry should be coming over to double up on the winger.

Honestly the fact he's at a euros is wild. I don't blame him if he has looked a bit out of his depth, a few of those Scotland players have.

Genuinely said it a few times I seen him live against Livi when he was on loan at Dundee United and it was one of the worst individual performances I've ever seen.

He then came out of nowhere with Ange but he's very limited. Solid player and a likeable guy though, gives 10000%.

He had an alright second half last night to be fair to him, and Hanley did put him in an awful position. Centre backs were so static when he made that pass.

Poor pass for the goal but as we've seen from his time here it can't be easy for anyone playing next to Jack Hendry. How that useless * is playing international football is a mystery. He's absolutely * honkin

It's not his fault he's there to be fair but it's wild how uncomfortable he looked last night. I'm baffled why the Swiss didn't just give it to Ndoye evertime to just rinse Ralston. Never seen someone look more uncomfortable since Tav backtracking against Maeda :56:

Brilliant energy but his skill level has been exposed in this tournament and the champions league, still love the guy but frailties are being exposed now.

He was so poor but it was a lot to do with the system he was playing-completely new to him that RWB role. dont ever recall him playing that for Celtic. Every time he got the ball, he just passed it back-but he had little choice, nobody ahead of him and he does not have skill set to either drop a shoulder and try turn his mad nor can he cut inside like Forrest does.
The only way he can perform is with someone ahead of him to link up with.

Why the * was he constantly left one on one with ndoye or vargas. Surely playing 3 centre halves is designed to stop that. Feel sorry for him, not international class but got let down by his team mates.

Hendry gave him no support at all. When Mclean ran on and threw an energy gel at him it was bad news. not really sure why Forrest could not have come on for him as he was clearly knackered

The CB closest to ball carrier should always drop back for a backpass. It's something you learn when you're 12 years old. It's lazy defending and shows lack of positional awareness. That being said, playing a no look pass towards your own goal is criminal regardless of what level you're playing at.
