Since when has Anthony Joseph ever been right regarding transfers?

One of the most unreliable guys out there.

 

Is he better than, or at least on par with, Calmac, Hatate, MOR or Bernardo?? No!
Then we don’t need him!

Yes, he would “do the job domestically”, but so would Kelly, Holm, Lawal, Iwata, Kwon, etc.
We don’t need cover, we don’t need squad players, we don’t need prospects!
We need players who will come in and instantly improve us!

 

Should be the thought process for every signing that the manager wants for the match day squad.

There's really only one midfielder we should be signing from the Scottish league, that's Lennon Miller. Even then, that signing needs done with someone else coming in of better experience and quality. Along with a host of deadwood getting punted to

Good player for Aberdeen or Hibs.

 

Lewis Morgan vibes from this one, looks good for Dundee and is a decent player but just not quite good enough for us imo.

 

Not a bad player but not a player we should be looking at. If this was a 19-20 year old it's a no brainer but he's not.

 

Wouldn't be against it as a back up and getting rid of some of the deadwood. Holm has showed nothing in the time he has had. Would much rather go for there left back who I think was on at loan to them.

 

Holm has definitely shown that he has potential.

I'd rather have him than McCowan.

Beck was on loan from Liverpool. I don't get the hype tbh. I've never seen him be a standout in any of the games I've seen of Dundee last year.

 

If O'Reilly leaves for £25 million or more this surely wouldn't be his replacement but we saw what happened when Tierney left we spent £2 million on Taylor so wouldn't put it past this board to do this .

 

If he was French Spanish or Italian he would be welcome

What has he done to assert your view that you would rather have holm?
He's hardly kicked a ball, nor been in a match day squad. McGowan has played all season, been in a team that ran the show against Rangers twice and got his team top 6. If Holm was worth a place then he would be playing and he ain't.
Not talking about Beck, they had another lad, a unit of a boy who is the same build as ralston, maybe I'm mistaken and he's RB. But for some reason I think he's left footed.

 

I just told you. Holm has shown glimpses that he has potential. He'd walk into every team outside us and the huns.

He's no getting regular game time for us, but neither would McCowan. The big difference between the two is one is 21 and the other is 26.

I was never a Jack Hendry Fan, but did you see our captain tonight too, as well as Ralston.

most people would bite your hand off for Lennon Miller yet turn their nose up up at this lad who had a better season.

I want Lennon Miller don’t get me wrong but we signed Robson and Hartley at 29/30 who is to say this lad can’t come in and do a job.

Aye some of Rodgers signings previously have been * but because of that we can’t just turn around and say because of that don’t let him sign anyone.

last season at Christmas I would have happily had him sacked but he turned it around and you know what he deserves the benefit of the doubt after being given them two transfer windows.

This transfer might not materialise but let’s wait and see.

 

He’s a midfielder so probably not.

And we all know we left a left back so I’m not sure how you have come on a thread about a midfielder then ask can he play left back.

He has always looked good when I've seen him play. Loads of energy and technically good. We need to be looking at good players in the SPFL.

 

I agree. He's worth a punt to see how much he can develop. Then if he's not good enough he'll move on.
